What do you have planned this weekend?
Any big plans? Or preparing for Thanksgiving and/or Black Friday?

I'm going shopping this weekend.
And I hope to scrap a few pages.

I have a workshop this morning on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, then off to the mall for a bit to return a couple of sweaters. Tonight will be quiet, hopefully some scrapping mojo will arrive.

Tomorrow is the tree lighting ceremony and official River Lights oeninng downtown, depending on weather I may take a wander down.

Sunday is open, probably laundry.

It's my birthday tomorrow! So, I'll be going along hubby's plan for celebration.

My daughter is playing in the soccer World Cup! We have a birthday party on Sunday. I would like to get some planning and grocery shopping done for Thanx.

I am very impatiently waiting to hear back about a job and to be paid for a freelance job I completed this week. Hopefully I hear from both today!

Otherwise we have a super low key weekend planned. I might go out window shopping with my sister & mom tomorrow morning. We really need to rake the yard but it's so cold and rainy all the time. It's supposed to rain most of the day tomorrow.

Chores, homework, church, swimming at the Y... that's probably it. My daughter only has two days of school next week because of American Thanksgiving so she's counting down until then!

My son is getting a tooth extracted (right now as I type). My husband is in the back with him. Tomorrow my daughter has her last t-ball game. I think my husband and I are going to try and get some shopping done for Christmas. My kids have all of next week off from school...so I'm excited to be able to sleep in some.

Fingers crossed for you! I'd love to work with you; I just think of all the fun you'd bring to a workplace. I hope they see how much you have to offer.

As for me, we have friends from Malaysia (where we used to live) visiting this weekend, so we're having a girls night out tonight & our families are going to a park in the mountains tomorrow. I am SO EXCITED!

today was tidying up around here and decluttering as well as looking online for houses (I'm doing some because its overdue for a clean plus I'm also decluttering incase I need to move for a job quickly). Tonight I've pulled out the laptop to do some scrapping plus I'm deciding whether to go to a movie or a basketball game tomorrow - both start within half an hour of each other so can't do both. Monday and Tuesday are my mum's weekend so I'll help do some errands with her on Monday and get my hair cut plus work on some more job applications, Tuesday we are thinking of going thrift shopping but will decide on Monday night I think

waiting to hear back is the worst and sometimes you never hear back at all or they take ages

Yesterday was a doozy for having the day "off" work but we ended with my daughter's Team winning by 1 goal. She scored one and saved one while she played goalie. It was so exciting and fun to watch!

Tomorrow we celebrate Thanksgiving with my parents and my sisters and their families. Today I'm making 2 different stuffings for that.

Tonight I'm working the Elton John Concert - so excited! I get to watch the concert and get paid to do it instead of paying to see it

A lot of our weekend revolves around the kids' activities. My 8th grader is applying to a magnet program for high school, so I took him for a required testing session this morning. I got to scrap and drink a latte nearby while he worked--I almost felt guilty about it!

Then this afternoon I took Ben bowling with a friend. That doesn't sound like a big deal, but it's huge! Ben is on the autism spectrum and has other special needs, so this is only the second time in his life that another child sought him out and wanted to get together.

Not as much going on tomorrow--haircuts and homework for the kids, laundry and other travel prep for me. We leave for Thanksgiving on Tuesday morning.

You are my favorite today, Kellie.

It would be me & a husband-wife pastoral team as the only FT employees with a couple of other super-PT (like 5-10 hrs/wk) ladies so I don't know if they'll get to truly experience me in all my 'glory' for awhile but I'll do my best!

Speaking of my big personality, if/when I get it, I would have my own office & I'm already debating how 'me' I can be when it comes to decor. One or two unicorn/rainbow things -- good employee with fun streak. More than two -- can she really be that professional?!
