Default VTech:Go Dinos??

Have any of you bought them in the past?
I want to get Mason 2 b/c he's been eying them and I didn't get them for his birthday but wanted to wait for Christmas.
He's 6 and loves dinosaurs and cars/trucks. He got a Hot Wheels race track he's been wanting.
Are these are OK for a 6 yr old? WDYT?

Santa brought those for my boys last year [7, 4 & 2] and they were very well received we got the Triceratops, Pteranodon & Stegosaurus. as the year has progressed, they haven't remained a "go to" toy for my crew, but they still see some great imaginative play.

Loni, I think that's with every toy after a bit they lose interest. The nerve, lol.
I think knowing he can go to it when he's not watching tv, or on his ipod and wants to play himself he can go to this. Great imaginative play, yup that sums it up!! Thank you for the input.

My 3 yo got one for his birthday. He loved it, but it drove us nuts! Hubby finally pulled the batteries out. It's much better now...

we've got a few of those for my 6 and 4 year old and they're really fun! they got them for Christmas last year and they were the biggest hit out of all their presents. They don't play with them as much now days, but they still do get played with!

We had this same experience! LOL! Stefan got one for his three-year birthday and has asked for more for Christmas... Hubby and I overlooked these on his list. (Not so sure Grandma did, though!) LOL!

I'm really good at tuning sounds on toys out too and these didn't bug me too badly. They take forever to turn themselves off though and sometimes it would get annoying, but it wasn't too bad for me.
