Default My Crazy Life...

I just had to share the craziness of my life.............

I have a 16 yr old stepson.......

I have been in his life for 10 years......
I have always the one that shows him the social ways of the world....

This summer I finally convinced him that he needed to dress a little nicer.
So as school started, we went shopping, he picked out his clothes~I paid.
He takes his clothes back and forth.....I have gotten him enough for both houses but he still takes clothes back and forth. This week tops it. I washed his clothes along with the other family clothes last week. When he came back today, he brought dirty clothes to be washed.............and what can I do about it? Nothing...................(I wash and dry but he has to do the rest~he has learned to iron in the last month.)

His mother is so clueless. He has a lot of moles on his face. He has beard hair that goes thru them......Can you get the picture? Furry moles are not cute on any one~grandmothers or cute kids. We bought him a razor almost 2 years ago. She has yet to buy him one. So chances are we will have to buy him a 2nd one to take to the other house.......

Just a note, the families have about the same income.
I just sit here and shake my head....What mom doesn't do what she can to prepare her children for the future????????And I can do nothing but vent on y'all~~Sorry

how wonderful that you're there for him! He may not consciously realize everything you do for him now, but he will! I have a good friend who was in a situation like this (she was the child)...she said it wasn't until she became an adult that she realized that her step parent loved her unconditionally and was really her "mom".

I am so blessed to have wonderful parents, so I can only imagine how hard it must be to accept that your parents have faults. Particularly when those faults suggest that they may have priorities other than your own well being.
