Default Baby Alive??

I was blessed with a daughter the third time around, and therefore am pretty clueless about girl stuff! I want to get her a Baby Alive doll for Christmas, but I am debating about which one... Not sure if the one you just pretend feed will entertain her enough, although it would obviously cost me less money! If you have any advice, please share

i don't remember how old your dd is jill, but my youngest got this one for christmas (she was 2 1/2 at the time)

we got her that one basically because i didn't want to deal with the 'pee' of the other ones.

she LOVES it. she still plays with it 9 mo later and that's definitely saying something for this household. she does play with the dr stuff more than the actual doll itself, but it was definitely worth it for us.

My daughter was just given this one and it is sooo creepy looking! lol. The eyes on that thing remind me of Chucky or something (because it blinks and falls asleep. It's scary when it wakes up out of nowhere!) lol- don't get this one!!!!

My daughter just turned three. I didn't think about the band-aids that come with this one... she would be all over that! And, it would be a lot cheaper to buy some new bandaids (Dora, in her case) than replacing other Baby Alive stuff.

hehehe It took 2-3 weeks for my daughter (2) to actually walk over to it and not get scared! Seriously, she would jump in terror every time it'd talk (when my son was playing with it). She still won't pick it up on her own, though... and she's had it over a month now! lol

OMGosh ... I was thinking a baby actually might have died! That tells you how long it has been since I have had little one.

I will tell you...when we looked at getting our girls one a few years back, there were horror stories of the food staying cooped up inside the doll and leading to maggots. That has turned us off to them since, even though I know there are ones that don't have that problem, LOL.

I'm not concerned about that... my dogs would find it way before that happened! lol But, I am leaning towards one that can drink, but not eat.

My baby sister had to have one is 2006... She was four and asked for it for like six months. My dad paid like double for one on Ebay that Christmas because they were sold out everywhere. When she opened it, I was amazed by how scary it was. The thing FREAKED me out so much. Creepy.

Ya, I don't recommend the one that pees and you can feed baby food to. I bought one for my daughter and all it did was make huge messes. I ended up throwing away all the food because I didn't want to deal with it.
