Don't say that!!! I just bought the entire series...only on season 1...hate to hear that it ends lame...acckk! Well I am going to enjoy it. Right now I want to watch it without my teenaged boys around making comments...so I can only watch it and ENJOY it on Thursday nights when they are at bowling with their dad...so at this rate it is going to take me awhile to get through all those DVDs. lol

My utmost favorite of all time...

M*A*S*H ... hated seeing that series end. I have the whole set and we have watched it probably 10 times if not more!!

After M*A*S*H ... never saw it and would really have liked to have seen it...and it's not on DVD

...Amazon has a "sign up to be notified when this series is available"
http://www.amazon.com/After-MASH-Ros...7718534&sr=1-1

Gilmore Girls...I'm still on season 1...but something tells me this will hit a close 2nd in my favorites next to M*A*S*H

Home Improvement (have the series)

Original Knight Rider (have the series) ... boys liked the new one just about as well...but it seemed to have disappeared...I liked the older one better...but the new one was ok... and he sure didn't hurt the eyes... ;-)

Gotta agree with you here!! This was a fabulous show!!!

I love this type of humor...and I am a huge fan of Larry David, so I love Curb Your Enthusiasm!

Of everything listed here...these are the only two shows I feel worthy of bringing back...

One that I really enjoyed watching as a kid, but I don't think I could stomach it now, was Hogan's Heroes.

I'd love to bring back Star Trek: TNG. I was sooooooooooo sad when it ended. I think I cried.

And I cried the other day when they did a spot for the season finale of Monk. Seriously. Why do the good shows have to die? Why? Why?

I agree about Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars, and Buffy. And an English show called teachers, which was hilarious even though it wasn't really a comedy.

Oh - and my so called life, that was awsome and should have had more than one season.

Let's see:

Star Trek: NG
Quantum Leap
Dresden Files- was so awesome only one season, so not fair!
West Wing before it sucked
Dukes of Hazzard
What's my Line?- the old old old black and white game show. I love watching reruns on Game Show late at night and they don't show it anymore!

I liked Journeyman, too. I also miss Stargate: Atlantis...Rodney cracked me up--I loved how naturally he did the role. Of course, the last 5 minutes of that season were the cheesiest in the history of television. Such a good series really died a painful death.

For sure...I have also been watching Frasier reuns on Lifetime and the writing is so witty. I miss shows like that. I have to add Picket Fences and Sisters too...wow, so many good shows are gone. Now there really isn't anything very memorable.

I was a huge fan of Joan also!! (again, all my favourites get canceled early!) It was just beginning to get really good and even more interesting... did you ever watch Eli Stone? You might really like it.

Most of my faves have already been mentioned:

Frasier (I'm addicted to that one on my DVR!)
Quantum Leap (wasn't Scott Bakula the best?)
Star Trek: TNG
Home Improvement
MST3K (does it get funnier for a geek than that?)

but one that I didn't see was The Cosby Show...why can't they make good shows like that so I can watch TV with my kids??

Oh gosh, this thread brings back memories
Quantum Leap was one show I never failed to watch, I love that series. Ally McBeal, Party of Five, Dawson's Creek, SATC, Friends, Gilmore Girls, I can go on and on!

I used to watch Doogie Howser MD too when I was a kid LOL
