Default Who are our Minimalists & Free Spirits?

Those two challenges for the Master of Scrap competition are on polar ends of the spectrum and equally far away from comfort zone! I'd love to get some inspiration from some of our own whose style fits those requirements!
Free Spirit
Minimalist

I did a page for the minimalist but I didn't use SSD product so I'm not sure I should post it here.

I'm still pondering the Free Spirit layout....

I definitely tend towards Minimalist vs. Free Spirit but neither is my comfort zone.

Here are my pages:

I didn't even think to post it here. LOL These were two categories that definitely aren't a norm for me, but here is my free spirit page with mostly SSD stuff.

In general, though, I would say Jamie is a Minimalist & Trish is a Free Spirit.

LW leans towards Free Spirit, too.

Good inspiration! I think there are not so many minimalists around here because when you get a kit as full of pretty things as our SSD kits are, it is super hard not to use all the things!

Also Ru is my Free Spirit inspiration! Her layouts are always so, so amazing! Like this one:

and this one:

I did the minimalist already (which was hard for me since I'm one of those scrappers that feels the need to use EVERYTHING in the kit lol) But I love the page I did.

I'm still struggling with the free spirit one....

You girls are seriously rockin' it! I think another thing that makes minimalist layouts hard is that there is a giant chasm between plain & simply stunning. It's hard to try for simple yet amazing and not end up with a super uninteresting page. Bringing a few small pieces together to create a masterpiece really takes skill. A skill I don't have, but after four days of dwelling and working and starting over, I've at least created something that I like. Consider me thoroughly challenged.

Beautiful layouts! I just finished the Minimalist challenge.

I haven't decided whether I'm going to attempt Free Spirit. Minimalist is only a little outside my comfort zone. Free Spirit is WAY outside it. I don't think I can pull it off in a reasonable amount of time without a template.

I played the Free Spirit. My Minimalist one wasn't a SSD kit.

Here is mine for Free Spirit. I didn't use SSD kits for the minimalist.

And here is my free spirit layout. Once I figured out my theme, it was really fun to make!

What great layouts! Free spirit is so hard for me to do. I'm obviously not very free. Haha!

I totally missed this thread! I've been on vacation this week (still scrapping, but not checking the forum much). I love all of these pages! It makes me realize how limited my scrapping is in the grand scheme of things and how I should try to stretch myself more often. I really do adore and admire all of the styles!

For the Free Spirit competition

I still need to upload my minimalist page, eeks.

The free-spirit layouts are just stunning!! So much creativity and emotion poured into each of these layouts. <3

These layouts are gorgeous!

These are both outside of my comfort zone, I think my style is typically somewhere in between. This is my layout for free spirit. I'm still working on my minimalist one.

Both are outside my comfort zone, but I attempted both. Minimalist was easier for me to do, even though I normally pile pictures on a page. The free spirit was WAY out of my normal. The minimalist comments I got complimented me on my selfie skills, but that's my sister and her family - LOL!

This is my minimalist layout, which was SO hard to do!! Luckily for me I couldn't cluster and deck the layout like I am used to doing, so I was able to finish this layout in a matter of minutes, once I figured out which kit to use!

Document All The Things by Amanda Yi, Digilicious Design & Becca Bonneville

My Free Spirit layout is a non-SSD layout--sorry. I already had this layout in mind as soon as I saw the directions!

Since I already posted it in the MoS gallery, I posted it here too, this is my Free Spirit layout. This was a struggle for me. I feel like I am an "everything and the kitchen sink scrapper" but it is uniform on the layout. Art journaling has always been a struggle for me.

I did these under 90 minutes. It was the most nerve-wrecking scrapping experience for me.
