I have a few "happy" mixes that aren't necessarily happy songs but just songs that I love. I also have a "relationship" mix and a "guy hating" mix that are really fun. DH even helped me compile that last one while we were dating. I mostly listen to them in the car, but they sure do brighten my day.

I have TONS of playlists. For starters I make a new one each month. I have a Taylor Swift one. I have a kids' music one. A big kids' music one. A Disney one. A classic rock one. One filled with mine and John's favorite songs from our two favorite bands. What I pick to listen to depends on my mood and what I'm doing. The only really specific ones are Disney and classic rock when I have a lot of cleaning to do.

Well, I created it 14 years ago, so they are old songs, but a few of them are:
Brand New Dream by Michelle Malone I Never Loved You Anyway by The Corrs I can't remember many more right now. There are a lot of great "boys are dumb" songs out there even if you don't really think that boys are dumb. Lol.

I don't usually make my own but I love listening to playlists others have created. I follow a bunch of playlists on Spotify that I love to listen to.

I basically have one playlist that goes for everything when I'm awake and then a playlist for when i'm sleeping. My brain works weird and I can't sleep without music playing (like literally I will wake up if my laptop turns off or something). They're always changing and evolving as I add and delete songs

Most of the time if I'm by myself I'm listening to an audiobook and if I'm with the kids it's either quiet or we're listening to the radio. The only time I really listen to playlists is when I'm grocery shopping. There I can't do an audiobook because it splits my attention too much and radio reception stinks. So I tend to buy new music and make a new playlist about 2x a year. They're rarely mood or band specific, just a bunch of songs that I've been hearing on the radio and love. I have a few older playlists that are themed, but they're usually songs from a tv show or movie or based on an author's playlist for a book.

I've become obsessed with the playlists that Spotify has curated on their "Browse" page. My favorites right now are Morning Commute, which is filled with upbeat tracks that get you awake for the day, Your Favorite Coffeehouse, which plays those fun coffee-shop style acoustic tracks that are just nice and soothing, and Songs to Sing in the Shower, which has those hits that EVERYONE knows.
It takes away the pressure of making the perfect playlist, and they're always adding new ones... plus they have everything from Italian Dinner to Songs for Yoga. Oh, and I get to discover new tracks, which is nice (Right now, I'm obsessed with Down With the Trumpets by Rizzle Kicks, which I discovered on one of the playlists, and Like Real People Do by Hozier).

Love that I can play my Spotify playlists on shuffle in the car when I commute to work (45 min each way) or when I walk/go to the gym. I only had 2-3 playlists but recently I've been creating more.
I have Work Songs (songs that are upbeat that I listen to on the way to work and at work) Sunday Hang Out Songs (songs my husband and I like. A mix of 80, 90's, classic rock, love songs and few good booty shakers) Work Out Songs - a punch of intense mixes that have a good beat Then some with my favorite singers. When I'm not listening to Spotify then I listen to How To Speak Italian CD's in the car. LOL - by the time we go to Italy this summer I hope to be able to speak and understand at least a little bit of Italian.

Do you have a playlist....
I have a lot of playlists! They're all grouped by the emotions they evoke to me. Like sometimes when I'm feeling down, I'll hit my 'Destructive' playlist. Or when I feel inspired, I'll listen to my 'Anthology' playlist. They're randomly titled though.

I love my long running crafty playlist. I've been curating it for 5+ years and it's near perfection.
