I'm thankful for falling asleep in my boyfriend's arms, even if it's just for a few hours, having a boyfriend that loves my dog as much as I do, and having a best friend who I can crash on the couch with and gorge ourselves with crazy amounts of food while watching movies, and who never judges me, especially about my relationships, when a lot of other people do.

Today I'm thankful for a hubby that is so thoughtful, he had to be up at 6AM for a meeting at work and before he left he made a huge pot of homemade oatmeal (complete with brown sugar and cinnamon...yummy) so that I wouldn't have to make breakfast when all the kids woke up!!!
 I'm also thankful for kids that not only LOVE oatmeal, but actually ask for it a couple times a week!!!

Today I'm totally thankful for high-speed internet... it allows me to shop and download my goodies, keep an eye on an ebay auction, chat at DD, check the forums, shop for Christmas, listen to Paperclipping pod cast... all at the same time!!

today i'm thankful for the digiscrap community. it's been a rough few weeks for me and i've had some of the BEST friends to help me through it all. while we've had some disagreements along the way, it's been so comforting to have friends that have had kind words of reassurance for me along the way.

Today we went to IKEA to buy my new bookshelves, but they didn't have them! It was a totally weird timing for everybody, so the disappointment was double, but we still managed to have fun and enjoy a nice day and a sausage soup of my making together. So I'm thankful for having great friends. :-)

I'm thankful for my hubby of 48 years and our family. We have had a wild and crazy life together and I can't imagine living it any other way. We have 2 terrific sons, a sweet and thoughtful daughter-in-law, and 3 amazing Grand Girls. Kip and I still have a lot of fun together. He is my assistant volunteer librarian (K-4 charter school), and he introduces himself that way.

Today I am thankful for my husband who works two jobs and long hours... he doesn't like it but he does it for us and for that I am grateful.. even though we do miss him at home.

Today I'm thankful that my DH and the girls went to my DH's parents and I got a weekend for myself. For my sister and brother-in-law who came to visit me and helped me with painting our entrance hall. For DSD and some amazing news I got yesterday in my email.

30 days of being thankful/Day 6 - I got some really nice stuff for scrapping tonight and will be headed out today to get some pictures to actually use those supplies. Also it is FINALLY COLD here!! I know it won't last long down here in Florida but it is nice to not have to have an air conditioner on tonight (and not to cold to have to turn on the heat either...just add an extra blanket).

Today I'm thankful for the extra patience I somehow mustered up while dealing with the ever-growing independence of a toddler (while out to dinner), Shiloh's delicious rolls with strawberry sauce and a baby who holds onto my pinky while drinking a bottle and falling asleep in my arms.
