I just LOVE these Mari!!! One of the things I've had packed in boxes for several months is my Silhouette. Do you know if I can use these with my sillhouette software? I am in LOVE with them!

I so much want to unpack that Silhouette! It wasn't in the boxes with all my paper crafting stuff though . I have a feeling it's in the boxes with my sewing supplies. I wasn't planning to unpack that until I get the wall cabinets for my room. But...I might have to go 'box diving' to see if I can find it!

I just watched that tutorial Mari. Fantastic!! Amazing technique with the tweezers! Now I really want to get out my silhouette! I'm hoping you'll do a tutorial on using digital products and printing tips.

One of the questions I have is: Do you print on both sides or ink the unprinted side?

Generally I only print on the one side. I did get some double sided Epson premium matte but still have to use it!

I'm so happy we have a hybrid designer now! Thanks for the link to your blog. I don't have any machine, but I think it can all be done with scissors just as well (I suck with machines, for some reasons scissors seem so much simpler to me). I need to find an excuse to do some paper flowers, can't wait.

YAY! So excited to have you here Mari! My Silhouette is out of the box but has only been used 1 time. Need to learn to use it more. There are so many things I want to do with it.

I am so glad you are here ... we've been needing a designer to create things for the Silhouette ... it's not real often you see much from me in the way of Hybrid ... occasionally ... but with these cutting files ... you are more apt to see MORE from me. Thank you!!! I can't wait to see what else you will have to share with us ...

Will there be a spot in the store that is specifically for "cutting files" designs? That would make it easy to find if so ...

if you click on "templates & tools" there is a category in there for "Printable Project Templates" and it has all of Heather's hybrid templates and Mari's cutting files

You DEFINITELY want to go download the software from the website ... usually by the time you get the disk, it's already outdated ...

Well here I thought I was a Hybrid Designer - at least some of the time! LOL

After I move I'm going to dust off my Silhouette as well! The last thing I used it for was titles for my son's science poster! hehe

The problem with Silhouette files and my projects are getting the cutting and folding lines to really line up well with the finished printed project. They have to be exactly "on" because if they aren't everything gets shifted. If you were cutting out a one piece flower and you've printed on the whole sheet (or a part), the way you load the paper into the machine doesn't matter too much, yk? Does that make sense?

My first try wasn't too bad, but my second was shifted too much. I sort of gave up after that! hehe I'll get on it in a few weeks and try harder.

Mine usually was spot on but having trouble since they updated the software to include the cameo to get mine to line up right...when my paper loads it either takes it in too far or not deep enough...hit and miss. I need to actually contact the support guys and see if there is a fix for it.

Yes yes! I would buy an "update" to all of your hybrid projects that I have purchased ... if the update was the cutting files (you know like an upgrade charge)

Either that or go to a previous version? I don't think I have upgraded my software ... will wait to hear what you find out.

Mari and the rest of you have totally inspired me, so as soon as my new office furniture arrives and I can unpack all my office and crafty stuff I'll start working on the Silhouette!

Mari, do you have the machine that prints and cuts or just cuts? NM, I just realized what you meant - using the registration marks you print onto the page with your project...
