Day 4: Our elf went joyriding with her friend Barbie!

Day 5: Emerald read Rudolph to the other toys

Day 6: Just hanging around

Day 7: North Pole Breakfast! My oldest kept saying that the juice wasn't Elf juice it was grape juice because it didn't taste like elves! I swear that girl will be the death of me. But she still agreed that Emerald brought it

It was in a little gardening set that we've had for years. I had to search forever to find it in my son's playroom. LOL!

We don't do it daily b/c Luke doesn't believe in Santa, but Luke & Joel have a little battle back and forth. Joel started it with Joel having the Elf type a little note up.

Then Luke hid him in Joel's bed. Joel had him hanging from the TP roll. Luke put him by the nativity. Joel is a slacker and hasn't moved him yet.

Obviously we aren't doing the original idea of the Elf, but we're having fun! I love the underwear thing... I think *I* might jump in tonight and do that. LOL

Yall are so creative! We just got an elf of our own yesterday so he hasn't been up to any mischief yet, but I'll be borrowing a lot of these ideas!

December 8 - DH and I had an overnight event to go to so my kids spent the night at my parents. My Daddy was in charge of the elves last night. He said the kids were totally beside themselves when they woke up and the elves had followed them to Nana and Papaw's house lol

I love that one Nikki...makes me (almost) wish we had a dog. LOL!

Day 9 - L.J. thought he had an early Christmas present to open, but it was just his backpack for school. What a jokester!

Well I finally got some pics up on Facebook - thought I'd share our
adventure so far with Brien Burkey

I had no idea December was already here, so our elf showed up
on December 2nd lol - he came with his usual letter

I've always wanted to do this, but the 1st two years we had an elf -
the decorations were already up. Had a blast doing this one!

This night - I was so tired that I was completely uninspired to do anything
more than stick BB up on top of our Christmas tree lol

We got snow, so I sent my hubby to the store for some coco - always
need some coco when it's cold outside Decided a marshmallow
bath would be fun too.

Another tired night - so I set up a game of battleship with some buddies

Fun idea - but this took forever to get up lol. But the kids & my hubby
loved it so much that they're still up.

I was in love with Traci's Star Wars snow flakes that I did my own. The boys
LOVED them. Even made a mask for BB - my youngest calls him Elf Vader lol

Can't have our elf show up without doing some of the classics.
Underwear everywhere -- fave of the kids

The boys got an early present - so I assembled them and had BB set
up playing with some other toys.

After a disappointing loss, BB showed his support of our team!
Go Hawks!

Another one of the boy's favorites - TP attack

And finally! My son had a play last night - he was the lead (a moose that
wished he could fly like the reindeer). I made BB some antlers of his own

Day 15 - He was trying to fit in with our family so he thought he'd try a little hunting.

I wanted to do something like this and couldn't figure out how. This will be perfect....but my elf doesn't stand so I'll have to figure that part out.

I'm loving all the ideas. Our elf has been kind of boring this year. But my 15 yo is totally not in to it, so it's for my 11 yo and she knows it's us, but still wants to pretend.

Playing poker with the Nutcrackers

Making sure we're all caffeinated with latte mix for the girls

Re-stacked the presents under the tree (after mom had just arranged them perfectly)

Hiding out on the mantle with the snowmen.

Went out today and picked up a few things for the Elf. Found the Santa Claus is Coming to Town book for our city, so got that. Will be having the elf deliver some cookie making supplies this weekend. Think he'll deliver some Christmas socks/t-shirt this week as there's an end of semester dance at school. Will be putting up a whole bunch of those gift ribbons on the wall like Jen22. That's awesome! Will probably make a sled out of candy canes next week. Trying to save the cookie and candy ones for after break. Oh yes, we found a little Christmas saucer and mug and Elfie will leave some cookies and a note telling the kids to remember to return the favor. I LOVE THIS THREAD! Thank you ladies!

My printer is down, so I drew a picture to color

My scary looking donut snowmen lol. It was too late to redo them, and besides - they tasted good lol

Thank you Tracy for the awesome idea!! The boys loved it - especially eating the poo lol

My hubby ended up in the hospital with meningitis, so I wasn't feeling very creative this
night. But I didn't wanna disappoint the boys, so I did the classic fishing one

And hubby is still in the hospital tonight (on the mend!) so I wanted to do an easy one.
This one was fun to do lol - thank you so much for the idea Juli!

That's funny Jen...my son wouldn't eat the poo. LOL!

Day 18 - Don't taunt the elf too much or you'll learn your lesson. Last night L.J. put him in our room so he wouldn't be able to get to his room and maybe he would do something to us. Haha! Nope, he's a quick little guy who can't be stopped by distance.
