Thumbs up Project 365 2010 - who's with me?

Yep that's right SSD will be once again housing a forum right here for you to share your daily/weekly/monthly photos!

So after having done this in 2009 (only 4 days to go-YAY!) I would definitely suggest that if you're going to do it and you want to scrap all the photos...start thinking about how you're going to do it, what kit(s) you're going to use and get an overall plan for how you're going to make it through the year.

If you did it before...let us know what kept you motivated.

We'll be setting up the forum for 2010 soon so get your cameras ready for 1/1/10!

I REALLY want to try and stick with this for 2010. I think I'm going to give myself a new photography challenge every month, so I can work on my skillz and stay motivated.

I really want to go buy some Lego figures and do a month with them. Freaking coolest 365 I saw, was a guy made a little scene for various lego characters every day, lol. SO FUN!

I didn't even manage to take a picture every day in December for my December Daily... there's no way I'd survive 365.

I saw one where the person had a theme every month...of course I can't remember where I saw it now.

Like February was a picture about Loves everyday...each day something new that she loved.

Maybe picking a theme like that every month would help.

I'm in again.

I am not up to date on my layouts, but I have been working on getting caught up and will finish my book!

One thing I didn't do so well this year, was to maintain my journal and I would like to do that for 2010.

I have a planner ready to go to detail the notes of why I chose the picture I did for the day --- so that if I get behind on scrapping, I will remember the details LOL.

I'm going to do one photo a week this year. I think it's more realistic for me and our family. Maybe a theme each month would make it even easier??? Hmm...good idea!

I bet the Lego people rocked! Where did you see that? I'd like to take a look.

I am really going to give it a try this year.

I want to know some themes and ideas though. I know I will easily get discouraged or bored.
Maybe we could do a "photo prompt" for each month or week or something?

I really want to complete this, finally this year! I've started twice, but stopped part way through the year. I gave my oldest son a small point & shoot camera for Christmas, he's asked for the cash value instead - I'm wondering if my husband will notice if I don't really take it back. Its hard to take a discrete picture with the Rebel!

I did SO well the first part of the year (took a pic or more a day even) but when life got crazy, it went to the back burner. Going to try to finish it somehow but I know it won't be as great as I planned.

My Jan-June book is awesome, so I may try to finish off the July-Dec by regular layouts in the back that I've done this year to fill it out.

I think sticking to a kit or theme per month would help a lot too...can't wait to see what SSD has in store to keep us motiviated!

I haven't decided yet if I'm going to scrap my pictures as well. I will probably give it a try so I can do the challenges, Project 365 and I really want to start a Book of Me this year too.

*Praying that God will give me the strength to do all of these*

Book of Me is pretty easy to do though. And I bet it'll be even easier this year.

I'm doing it again this year. I've got about a dozen things to take a photo of every month like sunset, the kitchen sink, my to be read book pile, lunch (I suck at making lunch), a self-portrait, the dinos & clone troopers. I find having specific items helps when I realize it's 10p & I haven't got a photo. It's ok to then take a photo of the book pile or my pantry at the last minute because I am taking one of those every month any way.

I had a theme last year with the boys' play & that worked really well. This year I am just winging it & it's a little too random for me, though I have kept up with it

Good ideas! I like the idea of pre-planning at least part of every month. I know my intention last year was to take a picture of the gas prices once a month and such, but I ended up very random. I do better with structure!

speaking of, why are my little icons not so little anymore! Did someone water them? :-)

I'm doing the My Lifetime Challenge at Faith Sisters as well. They have some great prompts lined up to help do a book about yourself.

I have no problem with taking the pictures - but I have no ability to follow through scrapping the same way week after week...

I couldn't even finish my December daily album. Three pages match and were pretty quick, then I got bored following my own 'template' and so I punted. Now I have two more pages done, but obviously I'm way behind!!

I'm "iffy"...but will be interested to see the forums here and maybe I'll be inspired!

I plan on doing P365, but still trying to come up with a theme... or several themes... I was thinking something along the lines of mugshot but I want to take other pics besides my face like my chucks or things about me... but then again... my kids are still really young so it would be fun to watch them grow up this year in photos too. I won't have such a crazy year this year so hopefully I will be able to make it through this year.

A lot of people use their blogs. I bet if you googled it, there would be a BOATLOAD of results, lol.

I am AWFUL at getting the pictures off my card every day. So personally, I plan to do it once a week, whenever I get a chance. I can then blog those if I feel so inclined.

I am defenitely going to do the daily photos...not sure I will upload everyday though. Typically I upload about two or three times a month. I am going to brainstorm some ideas for each month and come up with a theme for myself

I so want to do p365 this year! I thought it was a great idea last year, but had no computer! lol. I definately am going to try it this year-hopefully I can keep up.

What is the 'book of me'? that sounds like something I'd wanna try too. I try to scrap pics of myself now and then, since I love seeing stuff/pics of my mom when she was younger. I want to have stuff for my girls to look back at and see what I was like!

I am in *awe* of all of you that can manage to do 365. I could never find the time-LOL! I am planning on doing 52 though, and I saw someone post about making them 4" x 6". I can then print them as photos and let my DD's look at them in an album as the year unfolds. I also need some theme ideas...

The Book of Me is great! I will be turning 30 in May, and I wanted to do "something" to document my 30th year. I think I just found what it will be!!

I'm in... I've kept up with the photos all year... but pooped out on the scrapping in March. I totally agree on plan now! I changed my templates that I was using in mid year and had to go back and redo the ones that I did get done... now I'm set on what I'm going to do and go from there... now just need to scrap them!

I'm going to do a photo a week this year. I did 365 for 2009 and I actually kept up with it but I'm sooooo glad it's almost over. hahaha! I love to take pictures and I'm sure I'll take plenty. I just don't want to feel like I have to every single day.

I'm pretty good about updating my blog 3-4 times a week so I hope to keep up that way!!! and i just had an idea.....

I am going to take a picture of my family {individually} on the day their birthday falls on...so for me I will take a picture on the 27th of every month...DS on the 20th, DD the 16th and so on.....that will take up 6 days of the month every month and I would like to take a family shot every month on the same day! even if it is impromtu!

I'm on the fence about this. I didn't keep up with it in 2009 very well. I think I made it into March or April before I pooped out. But, having a monthly theme or certain photos that you take every month would definitely help me. I think I might use my Memory Logbook to make little notes about the pics that I take so that at the end of the year, I have a record of why I took each picture and any story that goes with it. I'm finding more and more great uses for my Logbook!

Oy. I realllly realllllly want to...I made it to November this year and then with the rush of everything that goes on the last 2 months of the year, I became totally uninspired. I did a 365 of Claire's first year and was able to finish that, I think that maybe that contributed to me getting burnt out....I also used my blog to update and that was SO monotonous for me, lol. I think I'll upload to my smugmug account this year since I do that already to back up my photos. Yes, I'm determined!!!!!

I am gonna do it. But I am not going to force myself to scrap and post the pics everyday. I think I will do a weekly blog post and just get like photog template to put them all in. plus I think those would make a cool graphic style photo book
