PL layout question - xtra pages

Finally diving into PL this year.

My question is - what do you do for extra events you did throughout the week that have a ton of photos? Let's say a Birthday Party? Do you do your spread for the week and then a spread for the special event?

Just curious. And if you can link me to examples, that would rock.
