Pontoon by Little Big Town is my current summer theme song- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0O0nzkESTI We are lake people and that is seriously what I wish we could do all summer. My parents have a ski boat but I think Colby and I are going to get a Pontoon in a couple of years after we've had a baby or two. lol.

Other summer favorites- anything by the Beach Boys, "Jump" by Van Halen, and "The Boys of Summer" by Don Henley. A couple of years ago, my mom loved that stupid Kid Rock summer song and played in on the boat none stop but I hope we are past that. lol. We like a wide range of music.

OMG...Yessss!! "Boys of Summer" is one of my favorite songs EVER! I'm not normally a big fan of mainstream pop, but my DD has me hooked on "Lights" by Ellie Goulding and "Glad You Came" by The Wanted. I'm kinda embarrassed to admit it, but I'm lovin' the song "Starships" by Nicki Minaj, although when DD's around, I have to go with the edited version!

Ah yes, Boys of Summer - love it. Brown-Eyed Girl is one of my favs for summer too. I'll be checking out those pop tunes too. I'm hopelessly out of touch on the music scene so it's all good.

Was just looking through my playlists... Summer of '69 by Bryan Adams is a definite. Otherwise, I don't really have a "summer" playlist. I group my songs by my mood.

This year it is We are Young by FUN, Starships, Red Solo Cup and Springsteen by Eric Church.

Mine all time fav from the past is hands down -Summertime by DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince. Probably blows some young kids mind that the Fresh Prince IS WILL SMITH. LOL!

Oh, and a month or so ago I was in a shopping center and outside they had playing Get Together by The Youngbloods and I was like "YES! Summer!" So, yeah, that one.

I second this! I LOVE it! My dh always rolls his eyes when I put it on in the car lol. He's not so much a fan of it.

Checking out some of these... I've been listening to 'Drunk on You' by Luke Bryan. His Tailgates and Tanlines album has some songs I'm loving this summer.
