Default Wanna See Some Funny Stuff? Share yours!

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, I was a paper/altered arts scrapper! LOL
I just recently remembered that some of the stuff I had was still uploaded at 2peas, and I thought I'd share. (These are mostly 2005/2006 projects)
This is embarassing but fun. (you can also see I had a crappy azz scanner)

I think this one is still kinda cool cuz I cut the heart out of a cd. lol!

Also.....
Here's my very first digital layout.

Ok, now dont make me look like an idiot. Share your firsts!!

I think I boiled the cd until it was soft. I cant remember exactly how, or for how long. I remember using a pair of VERY sharp scissors and that it hurt my hand. LOL

LOL yes. I also remember a pair of tongs were involved.

I did this project for the newsletter for Fibers By the Yard (I was on their CT).
I have no idea if anyone even remembers they existed.
This is how I became friends with Kitty Foster.
Ahhhhhhh my paper days. What a good memory. LOL

I remember boiling CD's to cut to make pins - got my stuff and instructions published in the Vamp Stamp News for those, too. And yes, even after boiling it still hurt the hands to cut through. I'll have to post some of that later this week. Those were those days. lol...

Fun stuff! I love seeing people's projects even if they are old and outdated!

I so remember cutting CDs. I think I heated mine with a heat tool then cut them.

I dug out a link from an ooold gallery of mine with very outdated rubberstamped cards and some other stuffs. You can see them here.

I remember buying stuff from Fibers by the Yard - LOL!!!! Even worse, I think I still have some of the fibers I bought from them sitting in a drawer in my craft closet. How cute that you posted that, I will have to see if I can find some of my old stuff (I've been doing this for over 10 years, I know I've got some hilarious stuff out there in cyber space somewhere!)

All of that stuff looks great, I am to shy (embarassed) to show any of mine, but the rest here look great. Love the recipe book idea, might have to make one of those myself

I cannot find a picture of my first hybrid. It was a clipboard that I made into a calendar for my mom. She still has it hanging in her kitchen...

I am working on my 2nd hybrid right now - a cb jack album.
