Default Dessert Help!

Does anyone have a good recipe for a cherry crisp dessert? My husband loves cherries and I wanted to surprise him with a dessert to go along with our Italian dinner this evening?

Thanks!

My Grandma used to make this all the time and it was simple and delish!

EASY & QUICK COBBLER

1 can cherry pie filling
1/2 stick butter
1 box Jiffy cake mix

Put pie filling of your choice into 9"x9" pan. Mix butter with cake mix and sprinkle over fruit. Bake 30 minutes at 400 degrees. Serve with Cool Whip.

i was just about to post something VERY similar to what maria said

i do mine as follows:

1 can cherry pie filling (can also use apple pie filing)
1 can crushed pineapple
1 to 1 & 1/2 stick butter (LOL - i use a LOT of butter )
1 box yellow cake mix

mix pie filing and pineapple in a pyrex dish .. cover with dry cake mix. cut butter into small pats and completely cover top. bake 45 min - 1 hour at 400 degrees or until top is slightly browned and bubbly. serve with vanilla ice cream

i have people BEGGING me to make this for them - i never tell them how easy it is - LOL!
