Default wireless printer (photo quality) recommendations

Looking to purchase a new wireless printer. Looking for any recommendations for one -- want to be able to print some of my scrapbooking stuff from home for hybrid projects from time to time, so I want good photo quality. But also keeping in mind that I want something that does not use tons of expensive ink.

???

tia!

I just got (a couple of months ago) the HP 6500A Plus officejet. I like it so far. The wireless was easy to set up and the quality has been good. I am not sure how much ink is used up with usage yet. The replacements aren't that expensive though.

Here is a link with some customer reviews....

I have had the Canon Pixma MP990 since January 2010 and I think I've never been more in love with a device. And I'm not alone - even a friend of mine who really isn't into computers or graphics said that she might buy it because it's just so impressive.

It also has scanner (which means it does copies, too), which maybe you are not interested in, but all in all I'm very happy with it and can't but recommend. ANY feature you want, it does have, and the wi-fi works really well.

ETA: The print quality is excellent and the ink isn't too expensive.

We love our Canon MP620, had it a little while now and LOVE it! The only stuff I print on my big old Epson now is my 12x12's. The Canon has great color and a scanner like Adrianka's.

I have one similar to Tara's that I got at Costco. Love it, and wonder how I ever lived without wireless!

I got a Canon Pixma MP650 or something like that for $89.99 and its the best printer I have ever had! The quality of the prints by far surpasses my $500 Epson R800 that I had. I would highly suggest looking at the Canons.
