Hey girls!

So, I just set up my new blog tonight for the contest:

I haven't made any posts yet. I'm planning to record a video for YouTube tomorrow just explaining who I am and what the contest is and things like that.

Can you think of any other stuff I might want to include in the side bar?

Or anything I want to post about before the contest starts on Monday?

My plan is to blog every day with my thoughts for the day, that day's challenge, and anything else I feel like sharing.

I feel like I'm missing something obvious though. Anyone have any ideas?

A link to Ghengis Grill in the sidebar? Maybe some photos of the local store manager or workers in charge of supporting you with a tiny blurb about them?

Thanks Jacinda! I actually had a link, but their site was down for some reason. It wasn't showing, but it looks like it's back up now.

I also added all the other sponsors of the contest.

I go tomorrow to meet the staff and mgr for the first time, so maybe I can have more of a plan with photos then!

i am not sure what the thing is exactly about. but as far as i remember it is about winning for weight percentage you lost. you could add a bar like these weight loss thermometers in percentages. and/or inches you lost.
an overview of what you did concerning excercise.

when i look at these kind of pages i am interested in what they did to lose the weight. e.g. what they ate (drank), how they worked out, what else they did, what their philosophy behind it all is (which often is most important for me. as if i could lose weight with philosophy :-D).

It looks awesome, Libby and I'm SO excited for you! You're going to rock this. I tried to sign up for email notifications, but when I put in my email addy and press 'submit', I get a blank pop up window...so not sure if that's something you can fix or if that's me.

I LOVE how it looks and am totally rooting for you all the way....but I also like the idea of having a % counter to actually show your loss.....another idea I like is I actually like to "see" what you eat.....I am a visual person so I think by seeing what you are eating along with any other information helps alot of people...I know that might be some extra work, bur think it would put you a little above your competitors

I thought about putting a slider on there for weight loss, but honestly? I don't want the other contestants to see that information. LOL So, I'll probably just update after each weigh-in (we weigh in at the beginning, half way, and at the end).

And I'll DEFINITELY be sharing my food, exericse, etc.

Oh, and Laura, I'm SO not sure on the email update thing. That's just a google gadget that I added. There wasn't a choice to customize it or anything. I hope it works though! I'll try to sign up, too.

Ok, I was able to sign up via email. When it went to that blank pop up box, it took probably 30 seconds for it to load. Then, I had to enter a captcha to process it.
