Scared and asking for prayers please

I'm bleeding. Just got off the phone with the dr. Bed rest til mon when they'll see me for an ultrasound.

Oh I hope its nothing to be too worried about. I bled off and on during my entire pregnancy and they never could figure out why. Today I have my almost 3 year old, try not to worry and if was real serious, they would have go to L&D, ER. I did, a few times.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Libby. I bled through most of my pregnancy with my son and I have a gorgeous almost 24 yr old young man. (he was a BCP baby, too) I'm definitely praying that it's nothing to be worried over but stay in that bed!

Bleeding during pregnancy is quite common. With my third, I bled all 9 months. Scary, but everything was ok in the end.

It could also be a cervix thing: the cappilaries (spelling) can be fragile and easily break after intercourse, physical activity or even just walking. Usually, you can go on just fine.

Prayers and PT to you Libby. I bled too for most of my first trimester. As it turned out for me, it had to do with where my placenta was forming.

Depending on many factors, this can be normal. If you start to really bleed go to the hospital. And, if you are really worried go too. They can do an ultrasound for you to reassure you. Ohh Libby, I hope all is ok.

I know that fear, all too well. I KNOW it's terrifying. If it makes you feel better, I bled with both Amelia and Benjamin, with Amelia it was at 12 weeks (so supposedly past the danger point). They are here, healthy, and they are driving me nuts right now.

REST REST REST REST and REST some more. Don't move only to pee. I really hope everything is ok. ((hugs))

I bled at 35 weeks, heavily. I have a perfectly healthy, gorgeous almost 5 year old right here by me. Let me tell you though, follow the bedrest. It works well. I held off labor for 2 weeks because of bedrest. I hope all is ok!

Yep, the surgery could definitely affect it. As could the blood disorder I mentioned yesterday. Both make me high risk, but I'm staying positive (and staying in bed).

I will also add that I bled throughout my whole 4th pregnancy. I was so scared too b/c I had never bled during a pregnancy before. Everything turned out fine and I have a fiesty almost 9 month old!!! The doctor said any pressure on my cervix (like going to the bathroom) could cause me to bleed b/c it was so irritated...poor DH.... LOL
