I go back to work tomorrow. :( I'm moving to a brand new campus so we have to go back a whole week before other campuses too.

I have TONS to do to finish getting my classroom together, planning and figuring out what I'm doing (I'm piloting a new program for the district so I'm totally a guinea pig at this point)... but trying not to stress.

The good news is my kids are spending the week at my mom's house and so I have quiet evening with DH planned and can ease back into being at work.

So have fun while I'm gone and I hope to pop back on in the evenings and catch up with all the fun on the forums! :)
 
awwwww! we'll miss you around here during the day!! my kiddos are going to a brand new school this school year too and dd's teacher is super stressed as well! i hope it all goes smoothly for you!! :thumbup:
 
Oooh Stephanie...I have two more weeks before I return to school. I will probably start popping in this week to get stuff going...I don't envy you, but I'll join you soon. Have a good day tomorrow!
 
I feel your pain! DD starts back tomorrow and it's a reminder that summer is over! DH starts next week and I always miss him when he goes back. I get way to spoiled to him being home during summer. He sure is handy around the house and with the kiddos! One thing I am looking forward to though is getting back into a routine. I thrive on routine I do believe.

The summer sure has flown!! We will try no to have too much fun around here during the day! LOL! Hope the new program goes well for you!
 
Big hugs! My hubby is a teacher, but school doesn't start until after Labor Day in this neck of the woods (but we get out really late too). We'll miss you around during the day!
 
OK... so the first day back wasn't bad! :) We did the warm, fuzzy, get to know each other stuff, then had a nice long lunch, more team building and the ribbon cutting.

Not bad for a first day back (of course my room is still nowhere near ready but it'll get there)... now DH wants to head out to watch football. Apparently we need to hit the bar while the kids are away... so we're off!

I'll catch up with y'all tomorrow!
