Default I am the MEANEST Mommy ever!

According to my almost 6 year old. He doesn't like me anymore because I made him pick up his toys. Too bad buddy! You still have to clean. And I am still your Mommy whether you like me or not. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

Anyone else here a MEAN Mommy?

At least once a day! LOL I get the "I don't like you".

Getting my 5 year old to pick up his toys is a chore. He has gotten better.....somewhat.

Oh yes, today my crime was saying 'no' to a lollipop. Mind you, he had bag of M&M's before we left for the grocery store, then got one of those free cookies they give kids in the bakery. Now they've started handing out free lollipops at the checkout for the Halloween season. I told him he could have his lollipop after dinner and now I am "soooooo unfair!"

Someone tell me why they can't put the candy displays in the back corner of the grocery store and the fruit and veggies at the checkout stand?

Mean mommies unite

I get the "but Mooooooooooooooom" routine. They aren't too bad most of the time, because I make them help every day. I tell them I'll throw their toys in a garbage bag, and that works! Because I will do it, and they know it LOL

all the time. My kids have all said it numerous times. It does get better as they get older but they have other things they say then. I get the "you're so unfair" from my teenagers. And the "I hate you" from my youngest or his other favorite is "you're the worst mom ever"

I feel like the worst mommy today. My 3 yr old son had to get fitted for contacts today.

Yes I said contacts. It took my husband and I over an hour to get the contact in. Poor little guy...

Actually, my typical response when my 6yo DD tells me how unfair I am is "Yes, I know I'm the meanest mommy in the world"...and that usually leaves her sputtering but a bit speechless

Yep... heard it when I told him it was time to go to baseball practice. He was playing his Lego Star Wars game and didn't want to go. MOM won!!!

As for picking up after himself, well I just threaten to get a big black garbage bag (which I have actually done on more than one occasion) and the fountain of tears starts and the room gets clean... hahahaha!!!!

I was crushed when my three year old told me to go away and he wants me to die. I felt like crying, but explained to him that although that hurt my feelings, I know he does not mean or even know what he is saying..lol
I explained if MOmmy dies I go away forever .......and then you have to live with Daddy all by yourself...HA HA HA - That stopped that one short...lol

My daughter is too young to actually say that words but I am definitely a mean mommy. Today her Nana got her a cherry Icee and I decided she had enough so I took it away and she screamed and tried to hit me. Definitely mean mommy material lol
