I'm so excited. It took me forever to decide what to get and now that I finally bit the bullet and just placed the order, I need a fun girly bag for it.

Show me your fav laptop bags...fyi, I got a 17" so I need the bigger bag.

I'll be interested in this too, since I haven't gotten a proper bag for my 17" widescreen yet. Although I wish I could have a girly case, it has be neutral since I share with hubby.

I'll be paying attention to this thread :) I bought a backpack camera bag that fits the laptop, but it'd be nice to have a pretty bag for it instead!

Thanks girls. I think I'm leaning toward the Janine King ones.

I have a Janine King one for my 17" laptop...that I had to turn into a desktop for work, so I don't take it anywhere any longer...so I'm selling my Janine King. I wish I had a picture to post. It's virtually brand new, and I'd LOVE to get rid of it for some Christmas money (or a SSD gift certificate :p ).

I got a Janine King for my sister for Christmas, and it's beautifully made. I want one for myself! Now for the laptop to go in it...

OMGosh....I've had a 17" for almost 3 years now and I've never been able to find a bag for it for under $300! Must go look at the Janine King ones again! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I have just quit traveling with the monstrousity (sp?) because the bags were so burdensome...

oh i'm going to have to check out the janine king bag too...i have one from best buy because that was the only one i could find to fit my laptop (17in)when i was going on vacation...

I have a fugly black one I bought at my local computer shop because I needed something to take it in, and had no time to go choose one.

I have a sweet pink 17 inch and it needs an appropriate bag LOL. So I'm watching with interest!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my bag--its for a 15" though i know they have larger totes for it---always love my vera bradley...amoung others!!!

I've been stalking the Janine King bags on etsy for mine too. I've just had my laptop since April and this weekend will be the first time I've really taken it anywhere. I'll be carting it in the ugly black free backpack that came with it this time around but I'll get something before it's next trip. :) I'm glad to hear a few people have them and like them. They are gorgeous and I was hoping they were as good as they look.

Are those bags protective enough? I wouldn't feel comfortable lugging my laptop around in just a fabric bag, I don't think.

I once had a monitor crack on a flight where I had it with me (under my seat the entire flight). It doesn't take much of an impact to do some damage.

Speaking of Belkin sleeves, I have one that is the cream/pink one that fits a 17" lappy that I've never used if anyone is looking for one. I'll make a great deal! ;)

I was concerned about the padding as well for my 17" laptop...so I bought one from Pinders Bags...a bright PINK bag (with padding)...and now NONE of the males in my family will touch it! Woo hoo...my reason for getting it! hee heee

Come on, now, Tracy. You got a laptop, not a life. You're gonna be carrying it where? To the bedroom? The bathroom? I mean maybe the laundry room if worse comes to worse and you have to do laundry. Save your money. Buy more kits. :p

{so, yeah, i'm talking about me, here, projecting my life onto yours, but i couldn't resist}

LOL Kellie! I actually have a few places in the next few months that I'll be traveling with it, but yeah after that probably not very much. Hmmm....kits or bag??? LOL

LOL! Too funny!

I got a bag soley for transport to my inlaws. What else am I going to do there?

The fabric bag does have some padding in it. That is why I also bought the sleeve. But then I also knew that I wouldn't be doing much traveling with it.
