Hey ladies!
Have you all heard about the "Queen of the Crop" contest at Scrapbook Graphics? Well, I’m a glutton for punishment when it comes to entering scrapping contests, so I decided to take a stab at this one. The contest is 5 weeks long, 1 layout per week based on the “assignments” they give us. Each week the layouts submitted are posted in their store and the scrapping community gets to vote for their favorite layout.
And here's where you come in- I'm in desperate need of your votes! Votes cost $2 and you get a goodie bag (new each week) from the girls there for your $2 vote (estimated value of the goodie bag is $10-$12). At the end of the 5 weeks, the winner will be crowned the “Queen of the Crop” and win a $1000 cash prize, along with $500 donated to the charity of their choice. Can you see why I really really really want to win?!
My charity (if I should win) would be the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade. As many of you know, Jay’s mom is now a 2-time breast cancer survivor and a very special woman in my life. I’ve started a website through the Avon Foundation to raise money for them regardless of the outcome of the contest. The “Bald is Beautiful” site is ready to go and I’m so excited to share it with you! As much as I’d love to win the contest, raising money for this foundation is very near and dear to my heart, so if you can, please make a donation- you might just get a nice little “goody” of your own from me if you let me know you have (no amount to small)!!
My sweet kitty Riley is the “mascot” for the Bald is Beautiful campaign!

The first week’s challenge was to create a page about 2 of our distinct personality traits or moods. Here’s my entry-
