I just applied for a job as an admissions counselor for EKU. I am qualified for the job (required a BS/BA with a year of experience and I had exactly that) but honestly this was the first time I've ever applied for a job that required my degree and I've had it for over 2 years (I was 7 months pg with Naomi when I graduated so uhhhhhh not looking, kwim?)
Realistically I know that I'm probably not going to get a job the very first time I apply for something...but it doesn't stop me from hoping! If David works, I don't have to, but seeing as he's going to be unemployed in about a month, I can't help but start looking. Neither of us are interested in him being a SAHD, but there's nothing saying we both CAN'T work either. If I could already have a job lined up it would make for a smooth transition while he's looking for a job.
It was so weird and surreal, applying for a job. I'm excited and worried at the same time. (fear of rejection) LOL!
