Why I haven't been scrapping....

I've been working on this large commissioned portrait of 5 dogs. It seriously has had me so stressed out. I was so afraid that I would get almost done with it and then mess up the last dog. Watercolor can't be erased, so if you mess up, you can be royally screwed. So I feel like I've been holding my breath for a month while I've working on it. BUT, I finished yesterday and I so stinking HAPPY/RELIEVED/WAHOO! lol Anyhow, just thought I'd share what has been keeping me from scrapping. Its 16"x20".

Now onto the next few paintings. I don't think I will be scrapping again until the new year...

Absolutely stunning Emily! I might have to contact you to do one for me :) But I'll wait til you're not so busy :)

wow!! wonderful talent you have! i'm jealous, lol. i can draw, but i'm not so good at painting. though watercolor is more forgiving than acrylic IMO,lol.

Col, absolutely! I'd love to paint your dog! Things should slow down here in a few weeks! Email me at emilycard (at) gmail.com and I will send you info if you like!

Corey thanks! Yeah, I would much prefer to paint in watercolor than acrylic. So much less cleanup involved. Although, with acrylic I do think being able to paint over your mistakes is kind of nice. Still, I love watercolor and its the only medium I paint in!
