Scrap Resolutions?

Do you have any for this year?

I do. I resolve to finish Aidan's 1st year book. It's time. :) She turns 3 this year! I resolve to scrap a book all about me. I resolve to get better at scrapping boy pages. I resolve to take one picture of each of my children a day.

for me it is just to stick with it. Try and do a few LO a week. I wish I could do more but I know how my life goes. I have no set goals, just to keep doing it. Last year I totally stopped scraping for about 5mos. Just got really crazy around here. Now I am beind! So that iw why I just need to keep going.

Cut down on the amount of pages I do.

Not the amount of pictures I take, but I can't have 80 pages for every month of the year. I'll never be caught up and it'll cost me too much money that I don't have. LOL!

I do! It's to get some albums together! Geesh! I have enough of them laying upstairs! I need to get the LOs off my puter and into a book!

I have 3 resolutions
1. do a page at least every 2 weeks. (I have a hard time balancing designing and scrapping)
2. do a hybrid project every month. (probably the chipboard albums, I LOVE those!)
3. make my 2009 calendar before the end of January. Ooops, yep, haven't made it yet!

I am trying to scrap enough pages to print a book. I am in April of 07 so far. Slow going. I am trying to get at least one page per week but I have already failed that one lol

Mine is to use the 'new' stuff in my stash. I did really good the first half of last year in using it, then the stuff started piling back up toward the end of the year. I have 'new' stuff from April 08 I have never used & I need to either use it or delete it.

I also need to finish tagging my photos so I can find the ones I want to scrap faster

I want to go through every months' folder and compile one central folder of "need to scrap photos". I'm finding some old ones that never got scrapped! Where I went through a photo shoot and scrapped the BEST photo....but sometimes within that photo shoot there was another really cute one that I could have scrapped too, kwim? So I want to do that soon :)

My resolution is to do something crafty every single day. Whether it's editing photos, organizing photos, tagging things in ACDSee, working on a hybrid project, or actually scrapping (be it paper or digi), I want to do 1 thing every day for at least 15 minutes. Hopefully, it will prevent the occurences of total mojo loss :)

Print more books. This really needs to happen. My kids love them, but 3/4 of my lo's just live on my computer and they need to come out.

*Take more pictures.
*Scrap regularly.
*Get over template block (I have such a hard time using templates )
*Keep positive. (Don't compare my own pages to others', don't feel bad if no one else likes it etc.)
*Do some heritage pages.
*Do more brag book type albums.

My scrapping resolutions are:
1) Actually FINISH my LOs. I get started and get hung up....I have to get over this analysis-paralysis and tell myself, "It's digi, so I can re-do it if I want to!"

2) Which leads to LO's per week, I guess. I would like to complete 3-5 per week---which is how many I start and never finish!

3) Take pics of my hybrid projects! I am usually making little albums and things for someone and always under the gun to complete them. I never take any pics of them.
4) Have some photobooks made.

  • Print my 2008 album before the end of January
  • Stay caught up with monthly P365 LO's
  • Build skills with challenges, one kit calls, etc
  • Print 2009 LO's quarterly
