So did something really happen underneath of it? Or it wouldn't start just due to the visible damage?

LOL Laurie, you must have missed my thread on Monday. Had a car accident.

There is suspension damage. I just can't believe I didn't do any body damage.
 
yep. $1100 in damage. Sadly, my deductible is $1000. :D Lucky for allstate. :D (I laugh, because otherwise, I would cry)
 
That really stinks Sara....hope it gets fixed fast so you are back in business. How are the kiddos feeling? Better I hope. {{{hugs}}}
 
Oh no! I missed your thread on Monday! I'm so so glad you all are ok, but how scary! Sorry you have to deal with this, but I thank goodness I suppose that there wasn't body damage on top of it all.
 
oh wow! poor Escape! deductibles suck! i think mine is $500 however, lol. but its good you're all okay; cars can be fixed (or replaced, lol)
 
I think if the deductable was $1000 and the damages were $1100 I'd probably just pay the whole thing without going through insurance if it was possible to do so.

I can't, because I already started the claim, but even if I could, I probably wouldn't because of the $300 or so it's going to cost them for my rental car. :D
