Slightly annoyed.

We got a new couch, loveseat and ottoman a couple months ago. We held onto our old couch, overstuffed chair and ottoman to see if any family or friends or college students wanted it. Everyone we know has furniture so Billy finally drug it down to the curb last night. Usually someone will come along and grab items like that before the garbage truck comes around. I went out this morning to throw more trash in the can at the curb and noticed that someone took all the seat cushions and cut the ottoman cover to take the cushion out.

Yes, I know I had it on the curb for the trash pick up but come on! Someone who needed a WHOLE couch could have picked it up. Now it really is trashed and unusable.
 
SERIOUSLY!?? Oh my my my I'm so sorry!! That is aweful that someone would stoop to that level... BLEH.... Some people just have the worst manners... :( I would be LIVID! :(
 
Hmm, I guess it wouldn't bother me. I mean you put it out for the trash, the people got what they needed. If you really wanted to give the entire thing to someone, you could have put it on Craigs List or something. It would bother me how bad it looked out there on the curb until it was picked up though. lol
 
Last time I did Craigslist I got some really weird responses so I am not doing that again.

And the trash gets picked up at 8:00 in the morning. It wasn't even daylight yet.
 
I know what you mean. I put a radio out to the curb a few years ago and an old tv and someone busted it all up. Someone else might have been able to use them but someone who was obviously bored and didnt have anything better to do just destroyed it all
 
I totally understand your annoyance....I would have taken the whole couch, etc. before I would have cut the cushions out....Shame, because someone else might have taken the whole set had the cushions not been cut out....:blink:
 
wow, that is really tacky.

We put a tv out for free and some guy stopped and my dh told him what was wrong with it, then he asked if the remote had batteries.... :blink:
The guy took it but left the free sign in the yard.

lmao...guess they really needed cushions then to take them at night. ;)
