Did your feet grow?

after your pregnancies? I always thought this was a myth but sadly I've learned it's true. I ALWAYS wore a size 7 shoe up until I was 30 years old..then I had DS and after he was born could not get into any of my old shoes. So from then on I wore a size 8 until Ella was born.. and now, today, I just had to buy my first size 9!!!! It's not that my foot is fat it's actually longer than it was! It's crazy! I'm hoping it was just that this particular shoe runs small b/c I can still get into all my size 8s but geez!

only with my first and only half a size. i went from a 7.5 to an 8. but i don't know if it was actually the pregnancy itself or just the fact that I gain and kept over 50 lbs with that first pregnancy!!! :(

Yep mine did! From 9 1/2 to a 10 and now to 11! I think mine is all fat though ;) If I lose around 50 pounds I might go back to 10 1/2 :)

My feet stayed the same after my first pregnancy, but after my second, I've had to upsize in many shoes.

Right before I got pregnant, I went from wearing a 10 (I seriously never had to try on shoes, a 10 was always the right fit) to a 9.5. Then after I had my son, I wear a 9 and have even bought 8.5's before. So mine actually shrunk, how that's possible, I have no clue, but a 10 now slides right off. My cousin said hers grew a whole size though.

If mine did, I didn't notice! How could I miss it, you ask? Well, I wear flip flops 99.9% of the time, but I have high instep, "claustrophobia" and circulation issues that all lend themselves to buying my shoes a 1/2 size big anyways. I need to be able to wiggle my toes or I feel trapped.

Anyways, those little feet in the Shabby Baby kit are actually mine! They grew into a 5 1/2 narrow, but I rarely actually buy narrow (as it's not usually offered), and I upsize to a 6 if it's a close-toed shoe.

I've said it a million times that I'm sure my mother's pregnancy practices majorly stunted my growth, so my feet are small, but my toes are like practically not even there...short, stubby little things. If they were regular size, I'd probably actually need the 1/2 size different...which is what feels better on my arch anyways.

Yes- argh! I used to wear 7 1/2-- my mom, my sis and I could all swap shoes. I'm wearing a 9 now! Good thing I'm done having babies! :)

yes. I went from a 7 to an 8 to an 8 and 1/2. I stayed at 8 1/2 with my last pregnancy. (but I had my daughter really young and I also grew two inches taller sometime between getting pregnant with her and getting pregnant with my middle child so my feet might have still been growing too)

nope.. not a bit. I used to wear a 7 - 7 1/2 and now I can sometimes wear a 6 1/2 and I wear a size 4 in kids shoes.

Mine did, but I only went up 1/2 size and I haven't noticed a size change from being pregnant with DD. I always heard it was from the weight you put on during pregnancy.

Yes, though not as drastically as some of yours. Mine had been a 9 since I was in high school and after having my kiddos I wear a solid 9.5 or 10.

Wow...I'd never heard that before!! My feet have always been between a 9 and 10 (depending on the shoe), they never grew with either pregnancy.

Yes, mine grew. Well, they grew after my first child. Not sure about the second yet. I haven't noticed any shoes being smaller this time. I used to wear a 6 1/2 and was a 7 after having my daughter. The same thing happened to a friend of mine with her pregnancies.

I had heard that could happen! Mine got so big while I was pregnant I was sure I'd never fit in any of my shoes again, but they eventually shrunk back down.

So weird what being prego does to your body...

Mine did too! A whole size--and every time I look at my feet I do a double take. Are those really mine? They didn't use to be that big! Eek! Too funny.

i gained half-size after my DS, thank God it didn't get any bigger after DD! coz i already have difficulty finding size 11 shoes! imagine how difficult it would be if i have to find size 11.5 or 12s!! Ugh.

I haven't really noticed except in one pair of shoes - I can't fit into them no matter what and it makes me sad cause they are REALLY cute (and sexy) black heels :(.

I'm a size 8 1/2 - 9 depending on the shoe - same as I've been since I was about 18.

Well, I went from an 8 to a 7 1/2 sometimes 7. I actually shrunk ... weird I know. To add to the weirdness, my right foot is a 1/2 size bigger than my left. It is soooooo hard to buy shoes. One shoes fits perfect, but the other is either to big or to tight. :( Sigh ....
