Challenge question

Okay so there are new challenges posted. My question is the challenges posted on 4/30 to get the extra point for using a new product can I use products I bought this week or is that extra point gone because I didn't use a product I purchased the week of 4/26, or does it still count if I use a product I purchased on 4/26?

If you bought products on 5/3 and did a challenge for 4/30 you still get the new points. The new products that count are the ones released on the prior saturday, regardless of when the challenge was posted.

For example, I could do a challenge posted yesterday (5/7) in 2 weeks, using a release from 5/17, and I'd get 2 points.

Does that make sense?

The extra point for new products is for new products released the week you did your layout. So if you do your layout today, it has to be something released on May 3 to get the extra point. But if you do it on say...Monday...it would have to use something from May 10's releases. Does that help?

Okay that is what I thought, but I wanted to check, thanks girls for your help. I am trying to get the 40% because I want to try some of the chipboard albums.

Also, just so you know, the 40% isn't good on the chipboard.......... we sometimes get a 25% off for the chipboard, but that's not a guarantee.
