So, it looks like Qnext might be the best bet for an alternative to Hello (sob) because it works for PC, Mac, and Linux users AND it allows photo and file sharing.
So.... post your Qnext username so we can all get back to chatting and sharing!!

Really? I can get that to work in Goober, but not in Qnext, it always tells me it can't find the username, but can if I use the number.

ETA: Oh, never mind...I *just* saw the search feature above where you enter the number. Duh!

Sorry guys...I just cant go Q. I have to have my screenshots. As much as I don't like it, I'm stickin with Goober.:(
 
i did a search in the help files for screenshots and came up with nothin.
has anyone done it yet?
 
aw crap. I misunderstood Bree too (not your fault, thoug hon). I thought Q did screen shots. CRAP!! This totally sucks!! I already miss Hello and its not even gone yet!! :(

No screenshots? WAH! Although I do like that I can hook in my other messangers, so I don't havet to have them all open.
 
Call me an idiot, but Tracey and I have been trying to use Qnext and we can't seem to share pics unless we download them and can't figure out how to do screen shots either! Are there tutorials out there??
 
When you're in a chat with someone, on the top right of the screen there is a pic icon (in the middle of two others). Click on that and it will open a window for you to drag and drop the pics in. Then when the person receives it, it will show up on the main qnext screen. (Meg taught me that)
