My layout about one of those rare moments I get some "me" time....

Journaling reads:
It is not unusual to begin each day rushing to get to point a or point b. I go to work, pick up one of the kids and then go to whatever may be on our schedule that night - ptg meetings, fundraiser committees or scout meetings. It is very tiring and by the end of the week, I just am exhausted! However on rare occasions, I will get up on a weekend morning and I find that I have a few hours to myself before everyone wakes up. I wonít lie when I realize I might get some time to myself, I silenty creep down the stairs just to be sure that I donít wake up anyone lol! Then I get my cup of coffee, probably a pop tart and then snuggle up on the couch in front of my beloved laptop and just enjoy browsing the internet to catch up on things. Sometimes I will sneak in a few more pages on my kindle often with a cat on lap! I feel the serenity and peacefulness of these quiet mornings and often my mind starts to race with all the creative things I want to do hopefully during the week. But alas, the time is never long because all of a sudden I hear the rustling of bed sheets and the thomping of kids running down the stairs and I know that my litle quiet morning is now over. I silently cross my fingers and hop that next weekend will be another opportunity to snag a few more quiet hours to myself....
