(journaling: Becoming a mother was the hardest thing in my whole life. It took me awhile to bond with my baby. It was hard and I was tired. It wasn’t “fun” like I thought it would be. I didn’t want to tell anyone that I wasn’t enjoying it because I felt guilty for thinking that. Motherhood was supposed to be wonderful! Some people can’t have children! Over time, I realized that my feelings were pretty common. It was a hard adjustment, but we made it. My love for my baby and husband grew and grew. And there were more “fun” moments. Now that I have had 4, I can say that with each baby, I have enjoyed it more and more. Now that I know what it’s like, I can honestly say I love motherhood.)

So pretty Sarah! That adjustment after a new baby can be pretty challenging, huh? Luckily it does get better. Beautiful work!
