Journaling reads:
We spent hours in preparation. I made a
cake and a couple other desserts. I cleaned for
hours and decorated the living room. Then I waited
hoping for a good turnout, but not knowing what
would happen since people in the squadron are bad about
RSVPing. My friend who was helping me host arrived and
then a few minutes later her neighbor came. Then we
waited. One more lady arrived and that wasa it. Two
guests! All that work, all that preparation, all that food!
