Picture 2 of 3 from Album Field to Table
Miller Farms is just down the road from our house. I make a trip out there several times a month to get raw milk that I use in my new “sustainable” hobby...Cheese Making. I also have brought home farm fresh chicken eggs, quail eggs, cheese, ground beef, honey, eggnog, chocolate milk and most recently, Dublin Soda. On this last trip, I had asked one of the ranch hands if it was okay to take pictures of the cows and he just let us into the pen where Dave and I were face to face with the dairy cows. You can tell they are used to people since one of the cows (who had a few hour old calf next to it) came over to us. When I stuck out my hand for her to smell, she proceeded to lick it! She lost interest in us pretty quick so we took our pictures and left them in peace. It really was a cool experience to get up close to the ladies that produce the ingredients for our meals.

The kit used is Kiss My Grits by Traci Reed and Krystal Hartley
