I know I'm a week early, but as I'm scrapping creative team pages with all these valentine's day supplies- I'm finding that I really dont do much for the 'holiday!' :o
Sometimes we sneak in a date night, but usually we are at a hockey rink for some tournament somewhere and if we are home- it's the usual work, school, practice etc etc schedule- SO now that the kids dont do VD stuff at school- I have no photos!
Maybe I'll use this rant to scrap or maybe I'll get my butt in gear & try to do something special for the kids- with lots of photos for next year's supplies! ;)
YOU? Do you do something every year for Valentine's Day? Do you brave the crowds for a date night? Do you have loads of photos to scrap (and.... want me to scrap them!? ;) ;) )

My photos from the holiday are from when the kids were little. These days I use Valentine's kits with kids, selfies with pup, etc.

We don't usually do much for Valentine's and def not with the boys now that they are 20 and 14. This year though, hubby and I are taking off for a weekend away. There is an RV Show in Houston that we are going to then the next day we may go to the coast or something for a couple nights. :)

We don't do anything these days either. I got a little heart balloon garland kit from Target that I want to inflate this weekend (but probably won't because it's going to be BUSY!)
We tried to get heart-shaped candy half price the day after though ;)

My valentine's day decor has definitely gotten smaller too as the kids don't seem to care! Your garland sounds super cute!

Yes please! ;) Definitely will have to do that this year! I also just ordered a valentine's pie treat from a local baker who makes these holiday little get ups- four mini pies in all yummy flavors. So we'll have pie AND chocolate covered strawberries!

I'm like you, Amie. I never realized how little I did (or how few photos I took!) for Valentine's Day until I needed to scrap for Creative Teams. LOL! It does make me aware, but with everyone out of the house, I don't know how many new photos I'll have.

I don't do a lot ... mailed a card & $20 to my out-of-state grandson (30), am giving the other two grandsons (19 & 29) a card, two boxes of Girl Scout cookies, and a small box of candy.
My granddaughter (28) is getting a Swig V-Day tumbler and matching straw, GS cookies, some non-chocolate candy, and a set of four V-Day "rubber" duckies from Target.

I actually dislike Valentine's Day (I seem to be full of negativity today...I need to go scrap!) We usually get the girls something small (chocolate, socks etc). No date night since my husband works the evening shift. We may get something fun for dinner or an early dinner (more around lunch time), but the girls have to work also....It will mostly just be me hanging out and scrapping. Same old Friday!

My daughter told me with less than a month to her sweethearts dance, she wanted cookies again this year. Last year, I spent 21 hours baking and decorating over three days. So, that was my day today. . .baking for eight hours. Decorating will be tomorrow and spill over on Sunday if I can't get it all done. I'll probably have to drive the 100 miles to deliver them next weekend, so that'll be how I celebrate Valentine's Day. (I'm thinking this might be elder abuse at this point. lol) I told her to send me lots of pics as payment because I too have lots of kits that need using. :)

My husband usually makes steak, seafood, and pasta for dinner for the kids and I. I honestly can't remember the last time we went out for Valentine's Day just the two of us. We usually bake cookies or cupcakes too. Nothing too fancy here.
