You hit a rut and all your layouts start to look the same?

I almost feel like I'm recreating the same layout over and over again... like I've found a formula that I like and I'm beating it to death!

I need to break free... LOL!

lol always :D :D :D whenever I make a page I'm like geeeeeeeeez that looks like everything else I've made! lol and I never realize it till I upload it. IT's annoying!! :D :D

LOL, all the time. I've been using templates lately, hoping I'd get out of my rut. I also did a page recently based on an ad on TLC for Jon and Kate Plus 8. I'm looking for inspiration everywhere because I was sick of everything I was doing.

Oh definitely. And I'm still new to scrapping. LOL! I'm also victim of the I-think-I-like-a-layout-and-then-look-at-it-the-next-day-and-hate-it syndrome.

i second this! i do tend to go my own way once i have the basic template, but gosh i find it hard to start without one!

I've been in a major creative block! And thennn yesterday, trying to BREAK it, I browsed the galleries and it only made it worse because then I realized how awful my work was by comparison to like EVERYONE HERE! I need new chee (or whatever word it is??) That's why my messenger status said I needed to do yoga or something and find inner peace earlier...

All the time! I definitely have to use the galleries as inspiration just to get new ideas to use as a starting point.

Yup - me too... but when you scrap with the same designers (and I stick to the Sweet Shoppe mostly now!) you are given much of the same kinds of materials to work with too...so I'm trying to branch out a bit. Oh, the challenges help but all my layouts still look like me. :)

This happens to me all the time.........I end up restarting the LO over. Especially with single photo LOs, not so much with multiphoto ones!

I'm in a rut tooo, I looked at my paper mags for inspiration but all I got was :sleep: no way... then I got to a template and wa-laaa ;) that or a challenge gets me inspired:thumbup:
