I think I owuld like to get one, for self portraits, hubby and me portraits and such things, when I have my camera on the tripod.

Does anyone have one, or know anything about them??

I have one for my Canon 400D. In theory it's to take photographs of the birds on our birdtable. I set the camera up outside the kitchen window on the tripod and post the remote through the window. Great in theory but the blighters seem to realise I want them to perform and they all fly off

It is really good though and didn't cost too much.

I have one for my Canon XTi, just got it a few weeks ago. It was only about $20 through Amazon and it works great, oh and it's a tiny little thing I'm afraid I'm going to lose it lol!

Check your manual, they probably have one or two listed as optional accesories, and then you can check out amazon and such to get one.

My next purchases will be a remote and a tripod. Then I'll be set for a good while (theoretically! LOL!).

I have one for my Canon Rebel xTi and it works great. I just took pics of the kids and I for Father's Day using it and I loved it. Shawna is right though, it is SMALL, LOL!

I use this remote (http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-Wireless-Control-Digital-Cameras/dp/B00007EDZG/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1214182687&sr=8-1) with my Nikon. Its $13 something from Amazon. Its nice to use on the tripod and for group portraits.
