Ahhh...it's starting out to be a GREAT day!
LOL, I'm being sarcastic.
My SIL went into labor yesterday, labored all afternoon, ALL night, 1-2 minutes apart from 10pm-6am, and when checked this morning, she was NOT dilated at all. She gets to go home because her contractions have slowed right down again. And she's now 7 days overdue, lol.
Then I get the dreaded "blue screen" and tells me it's doing a physical memory dump...I've gotten that before and have been trying to get it fixed, but anyhow, I finally called and gave them the error code I was getting. He couldn't figure out what was going on, because it happened 2x more while we were on the phone and each time I got a different code. So...we completely restored my computer.
No big deal, I've backed up all my "important" files...he kept double checking that I had, and then I started the restore and realized "OMG...all my MUSIC". Too late, lol. Doh! So, I've lost most of my music (all purchased on iTunes - mostly single songs, a few CD's)...I can recover about 1/2 from my iPod, but the rest is gone, including the 10 or so songs I bought this past week.
I get to spend the day reinstalling ALL my programs...so fare I've got my Wacom working, got Y!M going and downloaded Firefox so I don't have to use yucky IE, lol...still have LOTS to go, though.
I'm scared to turn my EHD back on because it was plugged in and turned on when I did the restore...I'm not sure if it reformatted it as well or not. I turned it off after the restore was done and I was waiting for Windows to set itself back up. Wish me luck on that one (thankfully the only thing NOT backed up to my 2nd EHD was digi files - all my photos, designing stuff, and layouts are backed up).
I hope everyone else is having a better day!
