Oh the temptation of these CT calls

With all the CT calls it's hard to not wanna try for them all. But I'm doing "pretty" good about walking away from many of them. It's SOOO hard though. The designers here are amazing.

I do have me eyes watching for one that I haven't seen have a call yet ... (yet) LOL

I love SSD, that's why I keep the teams I create for here, so I can focus on one store, it's sooooo much easier for me that way, and I've been so much happier since I've consolidated it to just here.
I think when you're a new scrapper, you hang around DST a LOT, and then realize your best bet is to find a homestore where you get to know the girls and designers on a more personal level.
I absolutely love it here, so much better than the drama queens at IVillage.

(Plus the designers here are seriously awesome, they really rely on input from fans and CT members and they really join in the community... it's nice to find a personality behind a design name, don't you think?)

I floated around here and there for a little while and never really loved a place until I came across SSD.

I know what you mean Nikkie, it would most definately be an honor to be a part of any SSD CT. All the designers here are definately in a league of their own.

I am sooo with you Susan! I literally had to tie my hands down for a few of the recent calls. I did apply for and get a guest spot with Eva and I can't wait for September but there was no way I could take anymore full time spots on.

That being said, I'm very open to any guest spots with any of the awesome designers here! :)

I would be honored to be on any of the designers here at SSD.I wish I could keep all my teams at SSD but there are some great designers out there that aren't here. It's hard not to apply for every call because if you don't apply how would you know if you ever would have made it.

If I apply for someones team its because I truly love their products!

I hear you Susan. It's so tempted to just on every call. I know in my heart that I've probably got as much responsibility as I can handle right now...especially since I have a full-time job that I really need to concentrate on LOL! I'm just glad I didn't see Dani's call unitl it was too late.... :D

Like Bryn, I've cut out all my outside teams. Now it's so much better that all my teams are right here at the SSD.

Well I don't hang at DST. I go to threads I need to and that's it. I have my favorite shoppes I hang at and love the people at. SSD is one of those places I frequent because everyone so sweet (and many times comical)

I've loved all the calls that have been going on here lately. I don't figure I'll make any I can't help, but try just in case there's a chance. I need to hang out here more. I admit. I hang at DST alot. I've been deabating on doing my first SSD challenge. :blink:

I, too, am staying SSD exclusive.... I post here, I buy from here... so it makes sense to ct here too. :) All the designers here are awesome so it makes it easy. :)

I'd love to reply to all the calls because I just love the stuff in the shoppe but I'm not too fond of rejection! LOL I tend not to buy from one designer (although I've seen more and more of Melissa and Traci's stuff in my cart lately) and my "likes" seem to change week to week with each new release. So, I'll stay a simple gal - working it for Penny and Sara here at SSD.

Would I accept an invite to be on another CT here? In a nano-sec from the right designer. LOL..... There are a few here that I'd struggle to do their designs the justice that they deserve.

I'm hoping that one of them will decide to give me a chance on their CT. So for now, I'll keep doing my other CT and applying for SSD CTs. SSD is my home. I love it here, and hope to someday CT or guest for the awesome designers we are blessed to have here at SSD.
