Never jumping in a bounce house again!

So, you know those bounce house/jump house things? Well, I took my son to an indoor playground that was full of them, along with a castle, train tables, dinosaur stations, etc and decided that I should take a hop around the bounce houses. Well...not ever having been in one and not knowing how flimsy the ramps are to go inside, I totally lost my footing and FELL OUT of the dumb thing!!! Now I have a fractured big toe (left foot) and a sprained ankle (right leg) and I have to wear an air cast, toes taped, and crutches for several weeks...*sigh* the things we go through for the kids!! LOL!!

Moral of the story? Never go into a bounce house...especially if you are clumsy and overweight!!!

awww (((((hugs))))) hope you feel better soon. Maybe you should take comfort from the fact that every mother had done daft things and got hurt for their kids at some point. I can give you some examples if you want some lol I have lots. Hugs Crystal xx

Thanks girls!! My dad was there and said he has pics of me going down the slide having a great time! He thought it was absolutely hilarious and has been teasing me ever since!

I hate that thing!! It's impossible to wear shoes! I go back to work this week and I am seriously considering wearing house shoes for the first few weeks of school!

If it makes you feel better, I broke my left pinky toe & sprained my ankle by falling on top of myself on the last step in the staircase. I fell all the way DOWN on my BACK three years before with nothing, but my butt is so massive (evidently) that the force of my weight tripping on one stinkin' stair set me back 3 months.

OH NO SAM! I'm sorry!

I have a friend that has a Luau every August and she rents a bounce house for the kids and all the adults go in it at night after drinking all day and the kids are in bed. I did it one year and got so sick! LOL! So I'm in the I hate bounce house club too!

Air casts are so flipping uncomfortable. I hated mine. I ended up getting a few pairs of mens tube socks to wear underneath the air cast so that it wasn't always sticking to me and gross and sweaty. Totally fashoinable too :p
