You know... thinking it's candy or food or anything? It doesn't matter if I'm on the other side of the house and she's busy watching TV, she hears and immediately says "What are you eating mom?" You know meaning, can I have some too?
Anyone else's child have perfect little ears attuned to the sound of opening food???

hahaha...my girls are like that. And even if you did sneak it, you better make sure that your breath doesn't give you away. My youngest says, "Daddy, are you eating chocolate?" a lot! lol.

LOL funny mention that, I was just saying to my DS "how in the world did you hear that" as I opened up the box of cookies. He hears things all the time that I have no clue how.

It amazes me that my daughter can hear a candy wrapper, but can't hear me tell her to stop doing something, or to clean up her toys, or that its time for bed...

I dont have kids, but as soon as the chopping board comes out, I have two furry friends just waiting for some chicken, beef or raw vegies to magically drop from the bench into their mouths :D :D The dogs also love cups of tea, and come running out of hiding when the kettle starts to boil... crazy animals.

LOL, oh, yea, that's my girls too! I remember before I had my kids I laughed at my sis who'd sneak into the bathroom every now and then to eat a treat in peace... and I had to laugh at myself just the other day for finding myself in the garage enjoying my hershey's sundae pie from Burger King!! Sometimes I just want to munch in peace...

Even my cats are attuned to the sounds of rattling silverware, cans opening, or even the crinkle of plastic (cereal boxes, they think it's their dry food)....

If I try to deny it, my 3 year old says "OPEN YOUR MOUTH!" so he can see for himself what/if I'm eating.

Oh yes mine do the exact same thing, I can't get away with sneaking treats either! And Kyle (at only 15 months) can be clear on the other side of our house or in the girls room and I swear he can hear me as soon as I open the dishwasher! Then he's running as fast as his chubby lil legs will carry him into the kitchen to climb up & help me load/unload lol!

sometimes my daughter (3) just walks up to me at my computer with her hand open! How does she KNOW I have new candy stashed in the computer drawer??! Yes, my girl has super sonic ears attuned to any candy wrapper, yet somehow cannot hear me call her name...

Hhaha! I was/am so like this... I'm sure Avalynne will be the same when she's older. Seriously, my mom or dad would call me for supper like 100 times, which I never heard, so to get me to come they would crinkle plastic, and I'd be there in a shot, lmao!

I know I was like that as a kid, and now my daughter does it to me, lol. It's SO annoying, hahahah! I don't even know how she knows when I have candy when I don't make a sound...she just knows.
