I'm curious to know what some of the themes of everyone's hybrid albums and mini books are - I'd love to make more but need a little inspiration I think.
I've been working on
1. my daughter's baby book
2. a 'playground album' of my daughter at her favourite playgrounds
3. grandma's brag books (mini albums and boxes)

and I'm planning a
4. year in our ordinary life acrodian album in a box and

I really want to do something with that cute calendar album in the shoppe!

Does anyone else want to share some ideas or what they are working on?

I've done 1-1/2. The completed one is of DS and his friend during swim lessons last summer. The half done one is of my boys at Easter this year. I really need to get it done. I have 4 more in packages waiting for me...

I started a favorite photos book, but didn't like how the pages printed on the paper, so I have to go back and redo that one.
I have a book from our vacation to Cabo, and a book of photos of Tiger.

Next on my list is a book of our engagement vacation, a book for my 3Day walk, a book of photos of Jordan and I, and a book of fun random pictures. I also want to do a book of our every day life right now.

I did Grandma & Grandpa brag books. Just some cute, recent pictures. I am also planning to do some brag books for Christmas, some of my son for the grandparents, some of their children for friends and 2 of my sisters. I am also doing a 2nd birthday one after my son's birthday for myself this year.

Oh gosh....lots to list.

But a few are:
- Trip to Disneyland in 2007
- The cakes I've made (I do cake decorating)
- Holidays
- Cruise this year
- Family visits to Orlando (where we live so we get a lot of visitors)

I usually scrap events that have a definitive start and end.

I don't do too many mini-albums, but the ones I've done have been for my kids. I made each of them a book of family pictures done like a kids book. For DS1 I made it like Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See? and used family members instead of the animals. For DS2 I did a book of colors and paired family members clothing with the color on the page. I've also done small books to prepare them for big upcoming events, like a move.
