It's not that I can't, per se, but that sleeping seems like a waste of time to me. I've been at BF's house all weekend, and I try not to scrap or be online much, so I've been catching up all evening on message boards, CT kits, etc etc. Especially since I'm not working, I usually stay up until 3 or 4 Eastern when I'm not at BF's house.

I also got a huge order of photos back from Artscow that BF wanted to have for his house, so I've been happily sorting and labeling and organizing them this evening as well. I'm a nerd like that.

Cheers, Meghan - hope this doesn't become a regular thing for you! my insomnomania is directly tied to my migraines...

I'm here, too. I need to sleep, too, because my dh has to work earlier than usual and my toddler went to bed especially early tonight. (re: we're lookin' at a 6am wake up call from my perpetually pissed off 18 month old)

Hellloooo, ladies! I'm here pretty late most nights... but it's always silent here. I just got done revamping my blog (http://littlebitscrappy.blogspot.com/). What do you think? ;) Ok, you really don't have to visit... I just have no one else to show. DH doens't get excited over these types of things. lol

I really should go to bed because I have school tomorrow... but I don't want to!

Oh, Megan, it looks GREAT! Love your banner.

LeeAndra, that sounds heavenly to be able to stay up till 3 or 4.

And I'm so sorry you can't sleep, Meg. I find that if I'm on the computer before I go to bed, it takes me a really long time to go to sleep. But it is so fun to be on the computer...

Oh, Bryn, does that means he's not adapted yet to the new baby? I was just thinking about your post a couple of months ago {or it could have been a couple of days or a couple of years as good as I am at keeping track of time} and wondering if he was still mad at you. Poor guy, but more importantly...poor mom. :(

Yep... I'm an insomniac. I always tell my husband that I'm on Hawaii time. It would only be 9:30pm there! :) Honestly, I'd love to sleep, but I just can't do it until around 2am. I'm nearly always dropdead tired which is the worst part of insomnia, of course.

And Megan, your blog is so beautiful! Love the darling little side things you made that say favorite scrap sites and such. :) Great blog!

No way! That's not cheating! It took me HOURS to get my blog done.. HOURS! So I'm sure that blog in a box paid for itself! ;) BTW, I love your blog's look! Zoe's kits are fabulous!

I went to bed at 11:30, and read until just now (1:30'ish). I still can't sleep. I have to leave at 8:30 for a checkup for Mason, and of course, I'll be exhausted tomorrow but NOOO, can't sleep tonight!

Still mad.

But if you check out my blog (http://www.maternerdy.blogspot.com), we had a very "Yorick-centric" weekend this weekend. We're trying to pay him some extra attention. Phin slept through most of it, so it makes it easier, you kwim?

OMFG, girls, forgot to tell you... my preemie? Was 12lbs at his 2 month wellcheck today.

TWELVE POUNDS! (he's officially more than doubled his birth weight)

Q-tee blog, Meeeegan!!! ;)
I love your tuts, too. I'm a CS3 girl.

Okay, ladies, since I only need a few more points til I hit 30, I just scrapped the shutterbug challenge, and now I'm off to bed. If you guys are staying up, go leave my crying baby page some love, lol.

I'm not so much an insomniac as a person who just isn't ready to go to bed before 1 - 2 am most nights, but I sleep fine. Every once in a while, though, I go through periods where I'm so tired I can't keep my eyes open if I try to do anything, but the second I turn out the light and try to sleep I'm wide awake. It drives me absolutely crazy. Thankfully it never lasts for more than a couple days anymore. I used to have chronic insomnia, and it's so debilitating. Now it mostly happens if I have a lot on my mind, or if I have something important to do the next day (you know, when you need the sleep the most?).

I cannot sleep! I have too much to do and can't get anything done during the day because my kiddos are monsters! Hannah is going through a particularly difficult phase right now. I am exhausted right now (almost 2:30am here!) and I know as soon as I go lay down I am not going to be able to sleep. so frustrating!!!! I go through a few months at a time with very little sleep and even when I do sleep, it isn't restful sleep, kwim? And then I am fine for a few more months and the cycle repeats itself. I have found that these sleeplessness directly corresponds to my allergies & pain levels, though. And it probably has to do with the fact that my 16 month old still doesn't sleep through the night. She was underweight for a while so we were supposed to give her bottles whenever she wanted them. Well, unfortunately, she likes them at night... all night. Terrible for her teeth, but they were really worried about her weight. She is finally at the low end of normal, but still wants those bottles. we have another month before we go back to the pediatrician to find out if she wants us to stop feeding her at night. i am guessing yes, but i don't want to undo all the progress she has made so far. kwim? anyway... gonna try to sleep because my kids will have me up in just a few hours!

Bryn, I LOVE your new avi! I've never visited your blog before, but I will definitely be back. Congrats on your man's new job! So where are you moving "home" to? You got some great photos, too. Shey shey actually means thank you in chinese, but from your story, I'm not sure why they would be telling you thanks, lol.

And omgosh, my kids were like that too about toys. Jack didn't play with toys till he was almost two, but Max, the little guy, has loved them since he was little.

I totally want to come visit you; your life sounds so fun! And in case you didn't notice, I am just replying to your blog here instead of actually going to the trouble of commenting there.

Allie, the blog in a box looks FANtastic. When I get a blog, I'm definitely going that route.

heh Allie, I could give you Kellie's bg info but i'll just let her..it's kinda interesting. I would love to have the patience to live the simple life she leads.

I finally fell asleep like 415am or so..and got up at 6..got T fed and back to sleep, and my other kids ready for school and ev1 was out the door by 730. Just tried to lay back down but at 8 I finally got up since I seem to be wide awake

Hmmm, not sure how my life is so simple it requires patience...but I am in Malaysia, which is right above Indonesia, though I did live in Indonesia for a year teaching English. We do a lot of stuff...community development and tourism are the big things. Like next month we have about seven days total where we're in the country and do NOT have people out here; it's going to be totally crazy. One of them is a single lady, so I'll be taking her all around, which I'm sure will be fun...maybe. lol.

And Allie, are you German?

I seriously just posted in the sweet layout lovin thread about this. I was up til 4 this morning scrapping. I did 2 last night. And I don't think I have ever posted a layout during daylight hours (although the sun was peeking at 3:59 when I uploaded my last layout.) I get like this. My husband hates it. He worries that i may drop dead from sleep deprivation. He begs me to put the computer down. Scrapping is my current vice. Last month it was books, I read 9 of them. Before that it was pc games, and before that it was jigsaw puzzles. But if I don't DO SOMETHING, I think. I worry. I get sick worrying about things I can't do anything about at 4 am. My doctor says it is because I had 5 kids and i was sleep deprived for so many years, that my body forgot how to sleep. I can take a sleeping pill, but them I am drowsy all day So I scrap until 4 am. Glad to know I am not alone.

Wow you girls were chatty last night! I was up pretty late and then just didn't know what to do with myself so I decided to lay down and watch tv till I fell asleep. I really need to stop staying up so late, with Lily starting school so early tomorrow If I was smart I would go to bed at a decent hour!

Bryn wow hot avi honey!

Megan- LOVE the blog!

No, I'm not German (If you heard me try to speak it, you'd surely know!) ;) We're Americans living in So. Germany for my husband's job. We'll be moving back to the States in about 6 months, probably (So I can get my Root Beer fix). :)

I HATE not sleeping! I was up until at least 2:00 last night and had to be up at 6:00 this morning. I've had trouble sleeping for years! Thank goodness it cycles - a couple weeks of good sleep, then a couple weeks of BAD sleep!

Hey, the largest mall on the ISLAND OF BORNEO is 15 minutes from my house, girl. :p We are moving up in the world. And I get Scrapbooks Etc. for $3, though I did just pay $8 for whole grain cheerios.

Another plus is that on the drive up our hill the other day, we saw a whole troop of monkeys crossing the street. Pretty cool, huh?

My life sounds fun? Dood. You're in Asia... how cool is that??
Home is behind the Orange Curtain. South Orange County, Laguna style. We miss home terribly, I can't seem to make any friends up here in Northern California.

I've never had to make friends outside of work and now that I'm a SAHM, I don't really know how to do it.

And thanks, guys, about my avi! :o
