I'm Up, I'm Up...

School starts today, and I'm already exhausted, lmao. Mason isn't even out of BED yet and I am wanting to go back. ;)

DH sets his own alarm for like 5:30, even though he doesn't work until 7, and has it REALLY loud and it's talk radio so it's really annoying men that think they're cool, but really aren't. Anyway, it woke me up this morning and so I finally just got up. The alarm for ME to get up hasn't even gone off yet, lol...and yet here I am.

Mason's lunch is ready, his backpack has been packed (he only had to take his lunch, indoor shoes and a box of kleenex...I can do that), his clothes are laid out...I'm way ahead of schedule. But I think I may be taking a nap this afternoon...hahahha.

I advise NO NAP--my body is all out of whack b/c I took a nap on the first day of school....now it needs a nap everyday and I can't sleep at night lol

I DID go to bed last night..and forced myself to lay there til I fell asleep..I know it was a good 2 hours before I was asleep...

I advise no nap too. I've taken 2 over the past 5 school days and both times I woke up feeling chilled & headachy, like I had a cold. It went away after an hour & only happened after the nap so I blame the nap.

OK...no nap it is, then. I actually brewed coffee this morning because my head was soooo foggy, lol. I have that to keep me going today...LOL! Good thing school is only 3 days this week before I get a long weekend to sleep in a tad!

uh, Bree, since when does a school in Canada start before Labour Day?? lmao Seriously, the school aged kids I know in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and even here in BC do not start until Tuesday.

I feel for ya, cause that will be me next Tuesday (although they only go for two hours). And even sadder, I am already up this early for work, but it's alone time for me ... now I will have to deal with the monsters wanting my attention.

Starting Wednesday next week, Cody has to be out the door at 7:50 to catch the bus. I drive Jenna and Xander, so we leave around 8:30 (school starts at 8:55 and I start work at 9, so it works good for us).

I'm with Nikki - I was that exact way the first week or so of school but this week has been back to rushing around to get ready. Too bad I don't have enough motivation to do that well all the time. lol

Hey Sonja... you think its bad that Mason is in school already? Kids here went back on MONDAY, Aug 25. This is day 3 for them already... and I'm in Sask. Don't ask. The school system here is retarded!

I dunno...it started last year before labor day, but the K kids started a week later (after labor day). My friends in SK, I asked when their kids start this year, and it was this past Monday. Edmonton area was this week as well, I'm not sure what day.

Dude you sound just like me this morning. Not a pretty sight around here LOL My kids are not morning people either. Im pretty tired to but im worried if I try to take a nap I wont be aup in time to get Lily off the bus. Omg its strangely quiet around here though. The boys are pooped too anda re napping now and usually Lily does not nap at all so its mom mom mom. I miss her but wow this is nice then I expected LOL

Ahhh, peace and quiet, hey Sarah? :) I'm looking forward to putting Natalie down for a nap this afternoon (she hasn't had them very often during the summer because of her brother, lol). I don't know if she'll go down - depends on how tired she is, but I'm SURE hoping she will so I can just have a little "me" time this afternoon. :)

It'll be my turn next Tuesday too...but after that, it's DH's job to get the kids off to school, lol! He's already up anyway, so he'll get them off in the morning unless he has an early meeting. Then I'll do it. :thumbup:
