...you start to work on a layout, and it takes so long that you're sick of it before you can even get it finished?! And I haven't even started placing papers or embellishments anywhere - this is just trying to fit all the photos in - AND I'm working with a template! Should be easy, but I've been at it an hour already!

Oh I've been there and it's no fun. It's best to just walk away from it and go back to it another time, the more you try to get into it more you will end up hating it.

I usually walk away too. Once you reach that point it seems to be the best thing to do. Or else you just get more frustrated and dislike the layout more and more.

I am another to just trash it. Sucks to spend that much time for nothing but I would rather have a LO that I like.

I totally understand! I literally let a lo sit for 2 solid weeks before I went back and worked on it again. I actually ended up just trashing it and starting over, and I love the result. lol

I've sooo been there. I'm there right now. I think I've got it and I'm hopefully in the home stretch, but now I'm just sick of it and I want to work on anything but.

Happens all the time. I just walk away or start something else w/ a totally different "theme."

Yup, hate that. I don't trash them too soon because sometimes it all comes together once I finally get past the start. But it's so frustrating.

Happens all the time. I just walk away or start something else w/ a totally different "theme."This is what I often do. I never like to outright trash something. Often walking away for long enough and coming back with a fresh eye is all it takes. You might make big changes then, but sometimes it turns out to be just a few simple tweaks that gets it all on track.

Happens to me all the time. I have to close it up and work on something else, if my puter will let me get that far that is. Right now I'm having major issues. :cursing:

Yep, same thing just happened to me and I just walked away from it for a few hours. When I came back to it I was able to finish it. I'm not always able to do that but luckily I did with this one :)

I'm another one for trashing it. If it's not going anywhere, I usually just need a fresh start.

I find this happening to me on almost every layout these days. Maybe I need a serious scrapping break!
