Last week I was doing the cookie decorating challenge and combined it with the color confectionary and get it all uploaded and posted and then see I already did it and forgot about it. Ok so once not a big deal right? Well tonight I am working on a layout for the SWTSB challenge...the one to use four or more kits and I get it all done (took me awhile on this layout) and then I start going through that thread and see that I already did that challenge on the 30th of last month?!?!? Now I totally remember the layout I did once I go to look at it but I could have sworn I had not done that one yet. Ughhh at this rate I wont get to 30 points this month at all LOL.

don't you hate it when that happens? I had that happen more than once (before I became a babe) and it used to drive me CRAZY!!! lol but hey at least you have two awesome layouts you wouldn't have had otherwise right? :)

I have never done it but I'm sure if it were not for the excel sheet I create the minute a new month starts I'd do it constantly!

Guess the challenges really inspired you! :) I'm sure it's something I would do, too, lol...

Yup, Done that once or twice :) Sometimes one challenge really speaks to you!
I'm like Pam. I have a Microsoft Word document that I keep on my flashdrive. It lists all the challenges for the month, and I mark it up to show what I've done (and last month I started adding the title of the LO I did after the description to keep it even more straight, lol). I use a smiley for finish it, and asterisk for using a new release, and an arrow for works in progress. Plus at the end of the month, I add whatever challenges I wanted to do but didn't get to, to a big list at the bottom of the file.
I keep the same file from month to month, and just rename it. :)

I used to do that when I first started. The only reason I don't now is I make a list of all the challenges with a description in my notebook and cross them off when I finish!! lol.

I keep a list of the ones I've done - so far I haven't repeated, but will definitely keep that in mind now!

I've done it a couple of times. Now I keep a list & cross off the ones I have done. I keep wanting to do p2d challenges over and over for some reason.

I was always so worried about doing this, so I started keeping an excel sheet so I would know what I had done and when!

I'm the same way! Lots of times if I REALLY can't choose between 2 or 3 LO's, I'll bookmark them and come back and lift them for another challenge all together :) P2D is my favorite
another excel spreadsheet user....I keep track of my challenge layouts on the same tab as my CT layouts. It really helps me stay organized!

I do an excel sheet also. I get confused when it gets to the last challenges of the month/beginning challenges of thee new month. Sometimes I will do them as the last challenges and then sometimes as a new one and that is usually when I overlap. With the cookie though I had changed it up a bit so I didnt realize it was the same one. Oh well I guess I got a new layout I wouldnt have otherwise had so that is a positive. I love the new one too. Id been wanting to redo the photo for quite awhile cause the one I originally did kinda sucked and this one is much better:-)

I have a little notebook I keep all this info in. When I do a LO I put the title & # of the challenge and the date I did it. Then it has all the info of what I used to do the LO with. That way I can go back through and see if I did that weeks challenge according to the date I put. Hope you all can understand what I just tried to say, because I'm confused.
