In my opinion, I think Bella is perfect! But, I still don't know if Edward is right. To me he's not perfect enough. lol I love who they chose for Alice and Jasper but I DON'T like Rosalie. I pictured her much more statuesque than the actress they chose. I think the guy playing Charlie is too good looking. lol Let's see, what else... Jacobo is perfect for the 1st movie, but if they make more...can he "grow up" enough?

So, what do you think of the cast choices? If you don't agree with the choices... who would YOU have chosen?

I like them so far...I do agree about Rosali...I picture her like absolutely gorgous, like can't take your eyes off her gorgous...hmm i dunno...I guess overall I am really happy..

Jacob is a bad, bad choice to me. I know he's younger, but this kid is too young and what are they going to do when Jacob is supposed to look much older and much bigger. But I am a big Jacob fan so I really had high hopes. I agree with you on Rosalie, not what I pictured at all. Laurent, I pictured French because of the name. Eric, I pictured more Norwegian cause of the name. James is way, way too hot (but that's ok..lol). The rest were either completely perfect or pretty darn good.

I really like the cast, I think Kristen Stewart & Rob Pattinson are absolutely perfect as Bella & Edward! But I saw the trailer for the movie (http://www.twilightthemovie.com/) first before I ever read the books, in fact that was what finally got me interested in reading them! So I had the movie cast in my head as I read them, plus the actors look a lot different when they are in full character than they do in real life.

LOL, but I do plan on reading them before the movie comes out, so I can watch it in the theater and not have to wait for dvd. And hopefully, I can get my sis reading them with me, so she can go with me. She's never heard of twilight, but I've heard too much not to want to read them!!! lol.

With reading the book before seeing the trailer, I pictured Edward bigger for some reason. He almost looks too frail and not quite "pretty" enough. I think James is HOT and sooooo not who I would have cast in that role, but I can deal with it.

Bella is right on with what I pictured.

Although I pictured Carisle blonde for some reason, I like who they cast for that one.

But my fav has got to be the guy playing Emmett...what a hottie!

Yeah, I pictured Edward bigger too. I'm going to wait on this movie to hear the reviews. I'm too nervous it's not going to be good enough.

I think james in the previews is not good looking at all--His hair bugs me! But, he looks totally different in that youtube video.

Not sure I'm happy with who they cast as Edward,esp after seeing the trailer for the movie. They cast Jacob too young, but we have to remember he hadn't turned 16 when Bella first met him. IF they make a second movie, they'd probably have to recast it with someone taller.
Everyone else looks pretty close to what seems to fit their characters. I especially like who they cast as Sam.
It'll be more fun to see the movie because they'll all be transformed with the magic that is Hollywood makeup,lol.

I'm pretty happy with most of the casting. I LOVE the actress they chose for Esme (but then, I'm a Grey's fan too, LOL).

I don't really like those cast photos, I think they make some of the actors look a little unnatural...I don't know, something about them just bugs me, LOL!

I'm thinking the same thing about Edward... I think he's just SO perfect to us fans that any poor guy who plays him won't stack up. lol BUT, I still think they should have picked someone much more stunning and a bit more beefy for the part.

As for Rosalie, I think maybe Elisha Cuthbert would have been good... she's just the right amount of gorgeous and mean-looking. lol

I love everyone, but i agree on Jacob; he looks SO young!! i can see him okay in the beginning when he is like 15 or so but as the books progress and he gets bigger i just can't see him working out, lol. but he's a cutie!
to me, Edward is pretty close to how i imagined him looking in my head. Kristen Stewart is PERFECT as Bella, they could not have chosen a better actress for that part. I think they did a good job overall. I'm so EXCITED to see this movie. I hardly ever go to the theater to see movies, but I am going to try to make an exception for this one!

First of all...by the end of that video, all the actresses looked kind of alike. I'm most disappointed in Alice. :( I agree that Bella is perfect. I really like Charlie, but in the book he is no where NEAR that good looking in my head.

As for Jake - are they working on a 2nd movie already? If not, then it will take a couple of years to get another one going/done and meanwhile the guy playing Jake will be growing, growing, growing! I really hate it when they replace people in sequels.

I think they are going to have to do some fancy shooting/editing of this film to make all the vampires look as beautiful as we were told over, and over and over and over and over and over and over and over...well you get the point...in the books.

Steven Strait would be great as Jacob in future movies, he's a hottie & was also in 10,000 BC and Stop-Loss. But I've read interviews where Taylor Lautner has said he'll be playing Jacob in New Moon, which I believe is going to start filming in January '09. They are waiting about 6 weeks or so after Twilight opens in theaters to see how the movie does before they get started. I've also heard they want to shoot the rest of the movies continuously (like the LOTR's) so that the actors won't appear to age.

I LOVE Emmet, holy cow. Jasper, not so much. But I keep forgetting they're supposed to be high schoolers.

I don't know WHO should be playing Edward, but this guy...not so much. He'd better be an amazing actor with bundles of charisma to make up for his lack of perfection. Brad Pitt is the only person in my mind who is beautiful enough, but he is a bit old to be playing a 17 year old. :(

I just watched the trailer, and i think it looks AWFUL. I'm not certain I'm going to watch it. :(

Well I agree about the ones they chose for Jacob, Charlie and Rosalie, too young, too young and not right, LOL. Edward I am not totally sold on, but the more I watch the trailer, the better he seems. I guess I will know for sure when I see the movie.

I think the cast for the movie, is pretty good... I am not TOTALLY in love with who they chose for Edward, cause he is absolutely perfection to me in the books, so idk who would be better... I watched a few other youtubes while I was there and there are some other good photos of the actors that make me like them more...like Alice. I just really hope Kristin lives up to her perfect looks for Bella in the acting department because from what I've seen of her acting in the trailers...not too impressed.

I think that Jacob is perfect...he is so young in the book...AND he looks Indian...that older actor...not so much...I think him looking Indian (since HE is...) is going to be instrumental in my judgment of his casting.
Edward...Hummm not nearly perfect enough for me.
Bella...well, she is OK I guess, I want to see what she looks like in Breaking Dawn...
Esme is perfect IMO...and so is Carlisle...I hope they transform everyone much better in the movie...although somehow Emmett seems perfect.

Eric is one of the 3 guys who asks Bella to the girls choice dance and him and Mike were in competition for Bella before Edward and Jacob were around. He was also the valedictorian at graduation.

I thought hte trailer was really poorly acted. I mean, the book is pretty intense, and the romance is so over the top, but she is just such a good writer that you find yourself totally believing it. I'm not sure the actors are up to the task of making me a believer. I am gonna let you gals watch it first before I ruin the romance in my mind.

He is definitely closer to who I pictures. Their pick isnt bad, but his eyebrowns need more grooming :unsure:

The movie is kind of an anniversary present,lol. He'll drop me off at the movie (can't tell you the last time I went to a movie alone,lol) and he'll go shopping (i.e. window shopping) to his hearts content and pick me up when it's over.
You know, I don't think we can ever be satisfied with who's casted as who, because we all form these pictures in our heads for what each person should look like. So many of those pics are studio shots. I will pass judgement after I see the movie,lol.
