Thanks for deciding to blow up on me today. I mean, sure, I'm walking 60 miles for Breast Cancer this weekend and will be sleeping in a tent and need you to help me fall asleep. And sure, I was going to wait a while to upgrade to the iphone in the spring when they get the 3G network situated and it's not quite as expensive since I'll have an upgrade available. And it's not like I'm saving money to buy a car, and put hardwoods in the house or build a deck or anything.

But you know, whatever. Thanks for sticking it out for me. It's good to know that even taking really good care of things doesn't matter anymore. Totally appreciate it.

Love,
~Col

PS~If restoring you tonight doesn't work, I might throw you out the window. I'm just sayin. No hard feelings.

ugh. i really hope it starts working for you! its a shame when something that costs almost an arm and a leg quits on you. We have an originaly ipod that worked up until a few months ago. then i got a new nano for Valentines day. So far so good. But i hardly lay eyes on it; its hooked up to my car stereo hidden from view in my glove compartment, lol.

Yes it is, and I'm kinda freaking out about it a little.

It'll play for like......3 or 4 songs, and then in the middle just stop playing and go to the black screen with the silver apple logo. I tried unplugging it from the power adapter (it's always plugged in cuz I use it all day at work and it pretty much kills hte battery). That didn't work. So I reset it (hold the menu and select buttons). That didn't work. *Just restarted itself again*

So I'll try a total restore tonight. If I do it as soon as I get home I should be able to restore it and then get my music back on it before the end of the night. We're not going home tomorrow after work, we're going down to DC so I can stay with my girlfriend who's walking with me cuz we have to be at the site of the start by 5-6am. So it HAS to get fixed tonight or I'll scream.

Col, I reset mine and it worked great afterwards. It was a royal PITA, I wanted to beat it senseless.

I hope you get it to work!

Good to know Jamie! There's hope! Lol!

I restored it (just like that process, through itunes) and have put all my music back on it. I've got it sitting next to me now playing away. So if it pulls a repeat performance, then I know it's a lost cause. But at least I'll know within a few hours, lol.

Thanks for the thoughts ladies! I seriously can't bear the thought of having no ipod for pretty much any amount of time. It gives me shivers. I'm mildly obsessed with my ipod, it might be unhealthy even, lol.

My firsts Sansa turned into a brick. PITA
I have only had to wipe this one once so far. But it is still working.

Just wanted to say "Yay you got it fixed", but seriously you will be so tired that you probably won't even need it at night to fall asleep. TRUST ME! I fell asleep on the parking garage concrete floor last year the first night when we got moved due to rain. Who falls asleep on concrete?

Anyway...good luck this weekend and if you see a tall curly haired redhead named Theresa, she's my friend walking with her 4 brothers in honor of their mom who passed last year from breast cancer. She's doing DC this weekend and then Tampa at the end of the month. HAVE FUN!!!!

Yea it seems to be fixed. And after I got upset about it, I realized I will most definitely be too tired to care, LOL!

Thanks for the well wishes Tracy :) I will keep my eye out for redheaded Theresa!

Uuuuuuuuuuugh! It was fine last night. So I brought it into work, put the songs that I d/l on my work itunes on it. And now it's resetting itself again.

Oh no! I'm sorry Col!

I have to ask, are you still able to take sponsors? Do you have a website? I totally didn't realize it was so soon and was planning on sponsoring you all along. It's always been a desire to walk the walk but I just don't think I have the stamina so I always try to sponsor someone.
