Hi guys! (Sorry for the cross posting, just wanted to make sure everyone knew where I was disappearing to :p)

I'm heading down to VA/Washington DC for my big 60 mile Breast Cancer walk! I'll be walking fri/sat/sun and then staying home from work on monday, so I'll talk to everyone then!

Wish me luck and keep me in your thoughts if you can spare a few

Col, I just have to say that I think it is SO fabulous you are doing this. My mom recently supported those walking in the Chicago 3 day and she described how moving it was to see all those walkers. I know it will be a grueling few days for you, and probably emotionally too, but I know you'll have loads of supporters on the side lines cheering you on (like my Mom did) and you'll have loads of supporters...like me..cheering you on from afar!

You go girl! Do it for the ta-tas!! Kudos! Hooray! Thanks!

Just before I turned 30 this year, I lost half a "tata" (would that just be a ta?)

Thankfully I was able to be "rebuilt" with out any complications and now have nice lump-free tatas... anyway thanks for fighting for the cause girl!

Keep us psted on how it goes!

Awwww you ladies are the greatest!! Thanks for updating for me Meg :)

I'm alive, and I'm doing better than I thought I would today, lol. I took the day off from work and Jordan called in last night after he met me and saw the shape I was in, lol. So he's been taking good care of me today. Not that it was hard, I slept from like 1 to 4, LOL!!

We walked 23.5 miles on friday, 21 on saturday, and 16 or so yesterday. And o.m.g. are my puppies tired. It was the hardest, most emotionally challenging but rewarding thing I've ever done. My feet and legs and shoulders are all achey today, and I've got some mondo blisters to take care of as well. But, as one of the cheerers wrote in sidewalk chalk on a GIANT hill yesterday, it doesn't hurt as much as chemo would. And I walked to try and end that sort of thing for all the women out there. And let me tell you, it's like they spend the whole weekend TRYING to make you cry! Lol! Between the opening and closing ceremonies, where they did special presentations involving survivors who were walking with us, to the 300+ person cheering station that made me cry on day 2 (a little girl holding a sign that says "Someday I want ta-tas to save" ?!?!! COME ON NOW!!!) I am SPENT! LOL!

For real though, thank you so much for the kind words and good vibes you sent this weekend, I totally appreciate it :) I won't be walking next year, cuz I'll be getting married or on my honeymoon, but I definitely plan on being involved again in the future :)

Col, that is so amazing! I'm glad you had a wonderful, even if it was emotional, experience. You are a hero to me! We had the Relay for Life here, and our itty bitty town of 3000 raised $21,000.

Congrats on your accomplishment!

Thanks again ladies :) I'm wearing my cute monkey slippers at work today cuz my feet are still too swollen to wear anything else, lol. I'm hoping to get a more in depth account of the weekend up on my blog at some point today, but we'll see. :)

Becky, congratulations!! I hope you do it next year, it's such an amazing event. I think we raised more than $7.3 million this weekend, which is a new record for the DC walk :)
