OMGosh, I have these bright red spots on both legs and feet. I've had chicken pox, they aren't bug bites...what in the world could they be???

Quick, diagnose me!!!

(PS) I don't do doctors...

Hives?? Have you been outside? Flea bites, chigger bites, mosquito bites? Do they have raised heads? Do they itch?

Please don't think I am gross. Do you have your period?
I have this wierd thing, if I have my period, and it is allergy season I get hives from head to toe. Thought it was just me, but guess how I knew my daughter had her first period? She got hives!
Just a thought. It could be hormonal.

Have you been out in the woods at all lately? I wonder if you got poison ivy or something? There is always Hand Foot and Mouth Disease too, but I don't think it usually affects adults.

Oooh! Have you had a sore throat lately? If you have strep and don't get treated, it can become scarlette fever. Red spots.

Could it be hives? Ringworm?

A picture would be helpful, but it could be a number of things, bug bites, possibly if they are very itchy, but they could also be hives as well. Since the chicken pox virus never really leaves your body, you could Shingles, which is much worse. My mom had it on her back and the sores were very painful. For your sake, I hope it's not that.

Whatever it is, as long as it doesn't get worse, you should be okay, but if you are in alot of pain and it starts spreading, I definitely would see a doctor.

Have you been swimming in a public pool or pond recently? I ended up with Swimmer's Itch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swimmer's_itch) this summer after spending time in a not so well maintained pool. I had a rash of red dots all over my thighs and it ITCHED!!!!! You can get it anywhere but it usually shows up on your legs and feet.

Ok, here are pics. Yuck! Can't believe I'm showing you! I'm about 90% sure they aren't bug bites...haven't been in the woods, not period time. I have been kind of sick off and on for the past few weeks...but idk? No itching. Just spots.

Not sure if you can tell much from these, but here they are:

Slightly raised...not itchy. Prob. 15-20 as of now.

No public pool (or any pool) for about a month now.

Yikes!

could be chiggers, an allergic reaction to a soap or detergent, fleas if you have pets that is a really good possibility or even mosquitos. If they are not itching I wouldnt worry to much. If they itch just try some hydrocortizone on them and be on the lookout for any kind of bugs that might be biting you.
